The more I think about this past weekend, I want say how much I enjoy watching the action. My Third race at Smoky Mountain, I wanted to see if I could be quicker than the last time out. Yes, HJ picked up about 3mph. The Viper, off the shelf parts from HC. I'm now second guessing my choice in crown gear size. I love looking at everyone's cars. Dave gives a great presentation, feels just like walking thru the pits. Looking at the data is so cool. For me I saw I as down on et. Thank you David for the bye into the final. That is a solid. Looking forward to 2019, I'll see you all at the next one.

I would like to thank all the racers and sponsors that supported this race and all the previous races in 2018!! You guys and gals rock!! To all that participated all year thank you as well. Without racers there are no races. Hope to see everyone back in 2019. Also to the Racemasters that take time out to do all that goes with running an event. Without tracks to race on there are no races. In other words.....it all has to come together. Thank you everybody for making 2018 a successful proxy racing year!! Racemaster Dave thank you for ending the year with a bang! Great racing at a great track.

Congrats triple52 on Best! cool list races, hope the other guys can show up for future events, I'm getting the itch a little now myself. all in all a very nice race and presentation. I may adopt the style of taking pics of the screen for my races. simple and all the data is there. congrats to all the winners and participants.

Looking forward to 2019, I'll see you all at the next one. It looks like several of the cars at the race were making similar power as the MPH were all close. I did not want you to face both my cars in the semis and final so I thought it was fair to give you the bye and let my two battle it out. The difference, even though it is slight, is in the early stages of the race, 60' 330'. Your cars ran very well and were very competitive. That 55 Chevy has won several races here and at other tracks. It is actually running a little slower than it has in the past. It holds the 2.5 track record at .35-- and 39+ mph but they all vary some on different days, good racing.

Congrats to all the great competitors! Also thanks to the great sponsors and especially Dave for putting in all the work!
I'm so excited, my wife's sister that has been staying in our basement for a year is moving out this weekend (finally! Lol) and I should be able to set up an area for a permanent track and get a timing system in the near future.
I wish I would've had more time to prepare my cars but, they did pretty well.
Thanks again for a great event Dave!
