I know summer is extremely busy but wanting to take a shot at another proxy race, so . . . . .
Good Time Speedway and myself would like to host a proxy event for August 1st thru the 4th of 2019. Located in Spokane, WA 99207.
The track is a scale 1000' (15' 7.5") with sensor readouts for:
1 - Reaction time.
2 - 60' ET & mph
3 - 330' ET & mph
4 - 660' ET & mph
5 - Finish; final ET; with mph thru a scale 45' speed trap at the finish.
Timing sensors are activated by puck lighting (xenon) 36" above the track.
The track is continuous rail with an approximate .012" to .015" rail height. Guide slots are .0625" wide x .1875" deep, routed into .25" thick expanded PVC ( a plastic product).
Slow down is 86" with dynamic braking, series of soft barriers and a foam containment at the end.
A 30 volt/10 amp power supply for each lane. Cars will be started simultaneously with a switch which will give full available power right away to each car.
Timing software is Drag Race Coordinator which times to the thousandth (.000) rather than the accustomed ten thousandth (.0000) as in TracMate.
Classes to be ran: T-jet (Pancake Comp) Gasser @18vdc, Pancake Comp (AFX style chassis only) Nostalgia Pro Stock @18vdc and Door Slammer Pancake Comp 4G only @ 20vdc.
More clarification on rules and a poster with in a couple weeks after this gets okay'd by the Admins. Thinking about a PSO and 4GO also but need to study that a bit more
