I see no problem with running them all together, gives the racer a broader field to choose from. Dave, thank you for your input on this! I decided to be more specific and went with "4G Pancake SS". I apologize to you and everyone else for any confusion this might have caused. I updated the poster/flyer to contain said info.
Hang with me everybody, I'm tryin' Gale
You eliminated the AFX and T jet cars?

You eliminated the AFX and T jet cars? Yes Sir, I did. I re-thought it and decided it would be a more fun event having a pancake specific class and I chose 4G over the other two. I looked back thru some of the past events and it seemed like pancake specific classes were the norm so wanted to follow suit. Once again, I apologize for my lack of knowledge in these matters and trust it won't deter your enthusiasm for participating in that class.
Thanks Dave for your concern on this!

I have over 200 drag type HO slot cars, 100 or so pancake and over 100 inline of all types. I think I have 1 4 gear 14 ohm stock, the track ambulance. I guess it will go to it's first race. Might help if there is an accident.

GTS what is rail hieght on your track? The rail height varies between .012 & .015 approximately. I'll re-measure each lane and get back to you in the next day or two with some more precise measurements.

I will take a 14 ohm out of something else and make one. Don't count the ambulance out the high Center of gravity will give it a good launch off the line but the aerodynamics will surely slow it down track.

Took my inline stock cars out for a test pass and the 55 Chevy and 57 Ford still run good but they lost about .05 sitting and resting. Some vitamins may get them back going again.

I have 4 gears just not ones with 14 ohm arms in them. Found out even the ambulance has a mean green in it.

GTS what is rail hieght on your track? Hey pete, this is what the rail height measured at this morning. It's fairly inconsistent at present. I will do all I can to make sure the highest will be .015" & the lowest at .012"come race day. Thanks again for your inquiry.

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that you'll be able to come up with 2 extremely competitive 4G cars .
