That is good info on your track. Lots of shoe travel is what is needed. Just take .005 out of the top of shoe hanger slot. Much easier than sanding or honing the rail. Looking forward, my builds for your race are underway.

Allowing braid makes it easier for the car to adjust to different rail heights.

Looking forward, my builds for your race are underway. Hey pete, meant to get back to you on this sooner. You can certainly do what you feel is necessary on your shoe hanger slot but want to assure you that the rails on race day will be no higher than .015" & no lower than .012". The way the rails are installed makes it much easier to lower them than raise them, although they can be raised, it's more difficult. At any rate, sanding or honing the rail is not an option I'll be pursuing . And then again, there will undoubtedly be some inaccuracy involved with the simple way I measure them . Just letting you know and hope this helps. And I'm looking forward to some records being set on my new track . Hope you're one of 'em!

Making some progress on the 4 gears. They can be erratic at times. Inlines are getting back to where they were.

Maybe I'm missing it ,but what voltage will be run?
Never mind.Found it on the first page. Sorry for the senior moment. I guess I need to increase the magnification power of my reading glasses.

Well, I think it would have been easy to miss. Thanks for the heads up, I entered the voltage again at the top of the Sign Up Sheet.

I added some "addendum's" to clarify some rules. They are at the bottom of the flyer on the first page of this thread. If any more addendum's get added, I will post a notice of that. Thanks, Gale

Thanks Bill, I pirated them from some of my 3 gear cars. Got them working OK now. Most of my AFX and T jet cars have 6 ohm arms in them along with Dash ceramic magnets. The Magnatraction cars are the exception but I put some of the smaller Dash magnets in them to. Magnetic force, (gauss reading), is actually similar between the 2 magnets even though the Magnatraction style are bigger but the Dash mags are a little lighter giving a slight advantage.

I added the "AW Super III" to "Addendum - 1" which states what inline cars are allowed for the "Inline Stock" class.
