 Two Classes will be run:
- Inline Super Stock @ 20v (Any body as long as it's Street or Drag Strip)(Tuners welcome)(Braids/Shunts allowed, no custom winds)(DR-1 and TR-3 chassis will be allowed with STOCK magnets)
- 4 gear Stock @ 18v (Nostalgia Funny Car or Doorslammer body)**Traction magnets allowed**
**Pro Street Outlaw 18v and Four Gear Outlaw 20v will also be running**

Track records that will be up for grabs at this event.
** Inline Super Stock 20v has never been run at Bear Creek and will be set at this race.
** 4gear Stock 18v JJWallace .8850
** 4gear Comp 20v Hairy Canary .6561
** MT/XT Comp 18v Nosubfor3 .5883
** PS/motorcycle 22v Eagle Racing .5420
** Stock Tyco motorcycle 18v has never been run at Bear Creek and will also be set at this race.
Those are some blistering runs so it will be no easy task. Bear Creek Dragway and Angry Jeff Racing will put up a bonus prize for any track records broken during Class Eliminations...List Races...or Match Races! Maybe cash, parts,....?? I will think of something worthwhile. Track records are only recognized at Bear Creek Dragway during formal events and have to be backed up by + or - 1%.

Everybody is in the house except two. Eagle will be delivering his cars on Friday early and expecting Sjracer tomorrow. So as it stands right now, it looks like everybody will make the show. We are starting Friday morning bright and early. Here are the race teams that are already in the pits.
Triple52 with his two beautiful entries. Great work! Welcome back Herm.
Pete's clean rides. The red and white Mustang is sporting a new Wizzard Fusion chassis. Welcome to Bear Creek Eric.
Nosubfor3 and his road warriors. Several of these cars have been here many times before. Welcome back Vince.
Mazda made it here after visiting another country somewhere along the way. We were sweating it a little but they made it. Welcome back Clive.
Kstocks showed up with his fleet of beautiful Mustangs. We like the Fords here at Bear Creek  . Welcome back Kevin.
This is home track for JJWallace. He did not have far to go. Tyco bike is making it's first runs ever.

Looks like a great group of race cars and quite a few at that.
Good luck to all in qualifying. I am very curious to see how my Inline Super Stock cars run on Jeff's track.
They were running good with some .50-.53 times here.

Here we are one day away from Raceday! I will be watching closely for the last cars to be delivered by mail today. I hope they make it. I will start qualifying this evening to get a head start on things. That way we can just start tomorrow with Eliminations. Tentative race schedule is 4 gear Stock will run Friday, Inline Super Stock on Saturday, and Outlaw List races on Sunday. Match races will be mixed throughout the event. Schedule can change depending on how smoothly things are running. That's how it's going down for now. We have a really good looking group of cars in the house right now. Looks like everyone did their homework on these builds! I'm excited to run them down the track. Remember.....track records are up for grabs at this meeting. Bonus prizes to be given out for new records. Thank you to everyone that got their cars here early! |

There are some really great looking cars out there. I wish everyone the best of luck. It will be especially interesting to see how the 4gear stock class runs. I am pleased to put the Capri funny car body to use on a chassis, I hope it runs as well in Texas as it did here and Top Cat doesn't scratch anybody's car as it passes. I have trimmed her claws. I am just pleased to be taking part in this great event and that my cars finally made it to Jeff. |
