IT'S RACEDAY FRIDAY!!
2019 NTRA Texas Nationals
RACE FORMAT AND SCHEDULE Track temperature will be in the low 90's today. These racers will need to have their hot weather tune ups. This will be the projected racing schedule and format for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All Class cars were Qualified lastnight and results will be posted shortly. Cars were qualified by running 1 run in each lane and taking the best time of the two. We are using a single elimination ladder (printyourbrackets.com). I will check pick ups, wheelie bars, clean tires, and oil only as needed. I will not oil armature unless absolutely necessary. Any special instruction will superceded these.Friday's schedule: Post Qualifying times, 4Gear Stock Eliminations, Match races or Inline Super Stock Eliminations (depends on time), Sponsor focus. Saturday's schedule: Recap of Friday's events, Inline Super Stock Eliminations (if it wasn't run yet), Match races, Pro Street Outlaw and/or Four Gear Outlaw. Sunday's schedule: Whatever is left..... That's about it for the scheduling. As you can see today will dictate pretty much the rest of the race schedule. If things go well, I will continue with Inline Super Stock Eliminations. If not, I will fill in with Match races. I am already ahead by having cars Qualified. Thank you all for sending your cars. I really appreciate the effort from everyone to get cars here early. Thanks again for everyone that stepped up and sponsored the race. Track records are up for grabs this weekend and should fall on this fast Max Trax surface. We have an exceptional field of cars! I've got some work to do now. The track is in great shape. Lanes are running even, so there is no advantage either way. Anyway..........enough talk........let's get this thing going. Good luck to all the racers this weekend!!!

Race 1 Gibbo61 team cars running for a spot on the 16 car ladder. The Cha Cha Mustang leaves first and never looks back. The Ghost Camaro had a tough time in Qualifying and is on the trailer. Gibbo61 moves on to meet #1. 1.5417et to 1.7988et.
Race 2 Gibbo61 needs a big break against the #1 Cuda of GTS's.....but not this time. GTS slows from his qualifying, but he easliy gets the win anyway. Gibbo61 is headed to the pits as a spectator now. GTS 1.0312et to 1.3489et.
Race 3 Cars leave together. USA-1 Camaro is out by 2 cars at 60' and keeps pulling through the traps. All Kstocks can do is watch the Chevy pull away. Nosub moves on 1.0683et to 1.1586et.
Race 4 This one looks to be a close one.....on paper. Sjracer takes the Holeshot and leads this one wire to wire sending Kstock's Mustang to the pits. The Summit Pontiac is going to Round 2. 1.0131et to 1.4658et.
Race 5 Triple52 is going to need some help here to get Nosub's Camaro and absolutely does NOT get it with a deslot at the hit! Nosub makes a solid pass for the win. 1.0099et to Deslot.

Race 6 GTS's #2 qualifier Garlits Charger puts down another hot pass and sends Triple52's Roadster packing. .9532et to 1.4095et.
Race 7 This was a good race. Both cars better their qualifying times, but the Jungle Jim Camaro takes the win by 4 car lengths. Gnome "Rolls" back to the trailer. 1.0313et to 1.1971et.
Race 8 Ecbill's truck has a lot of downforce that is slowing it down. Dave632 outperforms him at every interval. Dave wins .9769et to 1.3104et.
Race 9 Mazda in that sweet Capri runs his number. But it's not good enough. Sjracer betters his qualifying time and turns on the win light. .9804et to 1.2248et.

Round 1 is in the books. There were no surprises....the fastest cars are moving forward. Most cars ran their close to their qualifying number or slightly better. Here is your Round 2 ladder.

Race 10 GTS gets the holeshot and jumps out to the early lead. USA-1 Camaro tried to hang on but doesn't not have enough to run him down. GTS .9642et to 1.0738et.
Race 11 WOW!! Best race of the day so far. Nosub jumps out and holds the lead to just before the 660' mark. Sjracer's Pontiac gets up on the tire and drives around to snatch the win away. Sjracer .9983et to 1.0064et .0002 WM.
Race 12 The Garlits Charger gets out first and keeps the lead through the traps. Dave's Dodge was pulling hard but ran out of real estate. GTS is in the semis .9561et to .9846et.
Race 13 Dave632 gets a huge holeshot and it looks like it's a wrap......the Monza says "hell no" and drives right by. Sjracers is joining GTS in the semis 1.0132et to 1.0747et.

It's the GTS and Sjracer show today in 4 gear Stock. Excellent job by both racers to get both of their cars into the semis. Who is going to take home the gold? Semi Final ladder.
