I think the May 10 race is including the outlaw classes. so maybe that is a little soon for you to get back in. you are invited to try though. most of the scheduled class races are also running the outlaws these days, so check the schedule.

Thanks for the quick reply and when is the next run? I need to start building. As Al said, the next Outlaw gathering is May 10-12 at Smoky Mountain Dragway. A very nice venue to run fast at. There are still a few days left before time to mail. I don't have my cars ready yet either. If not, there will be another one after that before too long. By the way....PSO runs at 18v and 4GO runs at 20v.

Is there a minimum weight ? PSO is 23 grams full fender muscle car type body. 4GO is 25 grams Doorslammer/Pro Mod body.

I had been shooting for 23 grams on all my cars. Once again, confusion reigned . Went back and re-read all the weight specs and I had to add some more putty to both my Inline Comp cars but was able to remove previously added from one of the Inline Stocks . I really need to print these rules out and post them at my work area as the CRS syndrome is taking hold big time . Thanks again.

There were actually two question marks in the weight box for that build for some reason. Everything else had a weight?? It should be 23g. I don't really mess with the cars as long as the weight is close. I only add weight when a car is way off. I believe Dave632 is the same. A gram one way or the other typically doesn't make any difference, but 3 or 4 can be. Depends on the car and the build. I have a couple of pigs that fly down the track....go figure.

I am not that critical on weight when I run my races. Like Jeff said a gram or two makes little difference. I might check the TQ or a car that is running exceptional. In a lot of cases I have had heavy cars run better than light ones especially with non magnet cars. I have noticed with the good traction magnet cars the weight makes more of a difference. Obviously something to do with traction and weight in the right spots etc.

Outlaw street and Doorslammer list races are only allowed one entry each. At my class races I do not put any limit on entries but others only allow 2 per class.

Another question ,how many cars can you enter? Typically 2 cars per class at most all the races. Dave's race would be an exception. As he said, the Outlaw Lists are one car per racer.
