I Stayed in a cabin near Dave's neck of the woods a few weeks ago, that had a Route 66 theme. You can see the pic of the stained glass window in the bedroom. Lots of early Vette, vintage cars and motorcycle decor. Event had a juke box with oldies hits. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it. Especially since we have so many early Vette lover in the group.

57 Vette is my favorite Vette ever. Did you stay in the Pigeon Forge area?

Dave,
The place where we stay is in Sevierville, which as you know is just outside of PF. Its right close to the Smoky Mt. Knife Works. We really enjoy it up there!
57 is my favorite Vette too. One of my favorites cars of any type!

Almost forgot, while we were there, I saw Street Outlaws on TV for the 1st time. No cable at home. Wasn't that show the inspiration for our list races? Caught a few glimpses of a 1st generation Monte Carlo. But never got a good look at it. Is that a regular participant?
1st gen. Monte is another of my favorites.

Yes Bill that is Doc Love's "Street Beast". He is the only nitrous car left on the list. Everyone else has either gone to turbos or pro charger.

I think he has a 900 cu in motor in that car with at least 4 stages. He has one of the few original cars left on the show.
