Been laid up all week. Had some unnecessary spare parts removed, so taken it pretty easy.
Its given me some time to watch U-Tube videos of the Southeast Gassers. Man, that's some good old fashioned racing. Not to mention, fantastic inspiration for scale bodies and paint jobs. Several are early Vettes. Warning they are addictive!
Down time has also given me some time to play with the HO 57 Vette collection. Will try to post some pics soon.

Hope you feel better soon Bill. I imagine you have more 57 Vettes than I have, would like to see em. I have about 10-15. The 57 Vette I put into the PSO is not as fast as the 57 Nomad yet but I will put some work into it to see if it can take the top spot. So far it is about .03 slower than the Nomad even figuring the track timing change. It is a gram or so heavier but there is no way that would make that much difference.

Here are a few pics of my used Vette lot. All are there except the ones in my race box. You guys have seen plenty of them. No duplicates in this lot. I do have duplicates of a few of them, for selling, trading or customizing.

Bill that’s a impressive collection of Corvettes. I didn’t realize there was that many variations. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Thanks guys. Getting stronger every day.
Glad you like the Vettes. They've become a bit of an obsession.
Dave, thinking about the Vette body making your car slower. These bodies seem to squeeze the chasss pretty tight. The Nomads seem to fit loosely. Might that be a factor?

Good eye, Eagle, the yellow is the only original Aurora AFX body of the lot. It has a much nicer grill/ bumper/headlight combo. All others are Johnny Lightning or Auto World. Aurora also made a red with white coves and top which has a grill similar to the JL & AW but much better than the reproductions. Don't have one in but always looking. A second yellow one is set aside for trade bait.
