Can hardly wait to see these cars on the turntable! Best of show competition is going to be just as fierce as the racing.

It's great to be back in this hobby and great to be involved in this group. My only regret is my 58 y.o. brain no longer has the 13 y.o. hands & eyes to work with ........ good luck to all, it's almost " go time "

I'm glad to say all the arrivals have completed all the necessary red tape and are comfortably residing in their pit spaces . Onward . . . . . to uploading Best In Show videos. Then I'll be ready for tomorrow's arrivals .

More arrivals today !
Here are ecbill's cars. The one still wrapped is a prize he has donated, I have not determined yet how it will be distributed but no doubt to one of the winners .
And the cars from sjracer.
And even more cars from jjwallace.
Unfortunately, gnome wasn't able to get his cars for the classes done in time. He did send in his PSO & 4GO List Racers though just to keep the rest of youse guys in line . He also sent a wheelstanding tjet for a little half time entertainment . I'll try to get some video of it and post, if at all possible, fun stuff.
And here is some more teaser pics of the "Time It n' Win It" creation that jjwallace sent in. I still plan to post more on this event soon, please stay tuned . PS: will try to get a turntable video posted of it also.
Bill & Jeff, the items you designated for another member are securely in his return box .

I’m sad to say my cars won’t be making the trip to Washington😐 I’m in the middle of moving still. I was trying to have the cars ready before I started to move and that didn’t happen. Had some new ones started and my 4GO Aces Wild Willy’s won’t be making the trip either. It had a bad crown gear that I didn’t get fixed. Was looking forward to running at The Hot August Nationals. I might be missing the next couple races ? Gale your track is looking good and you got a bunch of good looking cars in the pits so far. Good Luck to all racers attending and can’t wait for the awesome show. Gale have fun !!

Here's a shot of the car that inspired my Gasser entry. Alley Cat II is a tough competitor in the Southeast Gassers. Since he's a 57 Vette and wearing my color, how could I resist? . Wing Nut is a nickname other branches of the military often call Air Force personnel. Sorta like we called Marines, Jar Heads or Soldiers, Grunts. All in good fun of course. Thought you guys might enjoy some of the background.

Hopefully you will make the Texas Nats and if not, maybe Daves race in November. Take care.

I don't know if its just me but the cars of yesteryear look so much better than the dull cars of today. Even the colors of todays cars are about as dull as you can make em. I sure liked the bright colors of yesteryear and the two tone paint schemes.
