I don't know if its just me but the cars of yesteryear look so much better than the dull cars of today. Even the colors of todays cars are about as dull as you can make em. I sure liked the bright colors of yesteryear and the two tone paint schemes. If pulled along side the classis the newer muscle cars do look fat and bloated. They just don't have the clean crisp lines of the older cars. Probably due to bumper regulations and aerodynamics. You mentioned the 2 tone paint jobs which are realy cool but how about the 2 tone interiors many of them had? One thing in favor of the modern muscle cars: If you pull them along side a Camry, Prius or one of their clones, the muscle cars look pretty sharp. |

Yes I liked the two tone interiors. In my opinion the best looking of the modern muscle cars, and this is from a Chevy guy, is the Dodge Challenger. The Camaro and Mustang are OK and when compared to the rest of the newer cars out there they look great. I really hate the looks and of the Toyotas, Nissans and those other Clones. The worst has to be the Nissan Juke. The designer must have had a nightmare before he designed that one. It got Top Gears worst looking car of the year award several years running.
Sorry to get off topic here but I had to rant a little bit.

Hi Gale, My guess at Jeffs time is 1.16.
I am looking forward to the racing but with the time difference of about 7 hours I will be asleep for some of it. I just hope my cars stay awake.
