Whether it's 1/1 or 1/64, the need to go faster is addicting. I'm with Dave.....about 90% of the time, if I have a car running well and I go messing with it, I typically end up with a slower car. I've said many a "choice word" in frustration working on these cars. But I also enjoy the challenge.

I am glad the walls in the room where the track is do not repeat what they hear.

My cars from England are on the way over. Let's hope for some great racing again. I was a silly boy and fiddled with the Texas Drifter, I think that I may have slowed it down. Why can't we leave them alone when they are running good. Hey Mazda....where did the Jaguar body come from?

It is a modified mould from a diecast. Done by a friend who is a master maker for many of the 1/32 resin slot bodies.

I'm still working on tuning my cars. Although I have made gains on most of them, none are standouts. I'm just trying to have them competitive at this point. Still some tuning time left till the race so maybe I can find some speed somewhere . PSO Dream Crusher Mustang is getting new paint and the 4GO is changing bodies again. The Precision Turbo truck was just too heavy, so I am going with an AJR Pro Mod Mustang and paint. At this point the performance is down on both cars and I don't have anything for the #1.....yet. The race is getting close and my level of excitement is climbing. Looking forward to it to say the least! Does anybody have anything new or special being built for the race?

I have the 4 gear Jaguar (Top Cat) and the Anglia gasser both on the way over. These are both new builds. Unfortunately the Anglia is named after Londoners and the website will not allow the name as it seems to think that it is a naughty word C*ckney Rebel.

All my cars are the same as the last race except the 2 55 Chevy's which are AW bodies. Unfortunately the green white 55 Chevy had some damage when I got it which was not shown in the description. I had a full size car identical to this one in looks many years ago.

My only new build is the Pro Stock/PSO Camaro. Don't even have it painted yet, still working on the chassis. Trying to get it to run better. The way things are going, could be down to the wire

Five beautifully stunning cars passed thru the gates today at Good Time Speedway . Mazda's cars jetted to Frisco in about a day from his home town and USPS wasted no time in getting them from California to here. This is one of the highlights of hosting an event, getting to see all the wonderful craftsmanship up close .
And he sent this really cool sticker that will be going on display at the track.
Thanks mazda for the early arrival! Certainly do appreciate that!

Wanted to clarify something: my original intent was and still is, to have all cars entering the 3 different classes, be eligible for the Best In Show competition. If for some reason a 4GO or PSO car is sent to compete only in the List Racing and not compete in the Class Racing, those cars would not get to be in the Best In Show competition. I apologize for any confusion this might have caused by me not making this clarification earlier. Thanks to all !
P.S. I will be glad to explain my reasoning for this if needed .

Both of my new customs are my List cars. I typically don't run my PSO and 4GO cars in Class racing. So I am aware that those cars will not be eligible for Best in Show.

Here are 2 of the cars going to Gales race. This was a great race between my 57 Vette list car and one of the 55 Chevy PSO cars. The 55 actually won most of the races between these two but this one was one of the best. This race was at 20 volts so times will be different at 18 volts but they still ran some very close races at 18 volts. The Vette ran its best 60' ever on this run and it needed it as the 55 put up the fastest ever MPH for a PSO car at 20 volts. The MPH rivals some of my slower BSRT 2.5 cars. 2 pancake chassis running well
