USPS 9405 8096 9993 9276 2486 81 Cuda 4GO sporting fresh paint 56 Truck 4G stock The bazooka crew dug this one out of the woods behind Smokey Mountian Raceway. 56 Sedan Delivery IS 57 Nomad March racer with Dach composite magnets Black AP Vette PSO Heading out of SC this AM I like'em all but the Cuda is looking pretty special! Amazing what a good custom job does for a body! I'll be heads up for them. [ I struggled with what color to paint the Cuda: plum crazy, sublime,or top banana. Thought top banana would work best with the decals. Cuda remains nameless. How about we have board members suggest names, and have a vote on it๐

2019 NTRA Texas Nationals and Bear Creek Dragway would like to take a minute and acknowledge the sponsors of this event! I only contacted one supplier and he was quick to send something to support the race....Jim @ Jag Hobbies! Jim has supported every race that I have asked for his support with. I do not always run sponsored races. I don't want to wear out my welcome. There are several that I have contacted over the years and almost all of them jump at the chance to send something. These people don't even know who I am. I am so appreciative of this!! Support our sponsors! Then there are the fellow racers that have just stepped up and offered all kinds of goodies throughout the year. This to me is very cool! Pete, Gibbo61, GTS, Ecbill thank you for your past and present support of my races and Nitroslots! Angry Jeff Racing is also supporting the race.
THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!

We have 12 Racers that have cars entered in the event which is outstanding! 6 of them are in the house already . The excitement is building....only a few more days left till Raceday. I will unlock the race thread and start posting some arrival pictures in the next couple of days and we will just roll with it from there right into the race. I always get a little nervous before one of these. There's a LOT to do and I always hope for everything to work properly. We are in good shape at Bear Creek. I will give the track another good cleaning and power/lane check before qualifying. Temperatures are in the high 80's to low 90's here so I will be running fans. Track temps will be mid to upper 80's. The strip is running smooth and fast.
Tick....Tock....Tick....Tock....

Here is the "Mauler" charger with the .474" o.d. rear tires from Ho tires direct on the back. This started as a '71 charger stock car AFX body in a "junkyard" body lot on e-bay. It's been lowered, bondo'd,and rattle can sprayed with pumped up plum paint. Every racer at the Texas Nationals will get a set of the c-1 (med.) compound tires.

A little bit of track preparation for the race. Got all of the back boards up. I do that for the pictures so all my junk doesn't show in the background . If we are racing on the track in house, I will open up both sides. I still have some race signage that needs to go up and that is about it. I will do a final electrical check before qualifying and periodically throughout the race. Track will get wiped down before each round. I will be unpacking cars tomorrow and moving computer and all other race support equipment out to the garage.....errrr I mean Race Central . Arrival pictures will be posted after that. We are ready at Bear Creek Dragway!!

Wow, what a crazy past 4 weeks . Have been super busy with various projects plus trying to put up with some minor health issues kinda' put me behind the 8-ball. Had this Monday thru Wednesday slated for some final tuning and one build. Went down into the race cave yesterday morning and turned on the computer . . . . Ka-Zzzittt, the power supply fried . Am fortunate that it didn't happen during a proxy event as that would have been a complete disaster . Got another PSU coming, be here Friday . Went down today and made sure all the cars I'm sending would still go down the track and threw together a quick back-up for a Pro Stock entry. It just doesn't pay in my lil' world, to put things off till the last minute. Always seems to end up with a big crescendo at the end . Regardless, these bad boys will be pullin' outta here hopefully tomorrow, Thursday at the latest ! See ya' at the races .
Great lookin rides & rigs.....did you make the Hendrix head ?
