Did not know registration was open. 2 in each class Jeff. Is it OK if Gnome and I have a wheel stander best 2 out of 3 match race? |

**ATTENTION** **ATTENTION**
We are at the one week mark before race day!! I hope everybody is thinking about getting their cars in the mail. Don't trust next day deliveries....even if you pay for it. I've had several packages over the years that did not arrive. Cars are already in the house, but I won't start unpacking any boxes till next week. I'm getting pumped. There will be 72 cars total if they all show up. It's going to be a great race! I will do my best to lay down the pictures and commentary to bring you to the track. I am planning on pre qualifying cars starting on Thursday. If I happen to have all of the cars here early, I will start the race early. Otherwise the race will start on Friday 27th. It's going down in North Texas September 27 - 29! Good luck to everybody!! |

Bill looks like you fixed the old pickup up nicely after finding it in the woods.
Unfortunately some of your Bazooka crew is still in the woods!

Amazing what a good custom job does for a body! I'll be heads up for them. |

Finally figured out how to post slo mo video, here is my first one: Herbie is jumping all over the place but settles down about midway to chase down the roadster, actually it's a yellow coupe but the car in the movie was a Roadster so I called it that. That really is awesome Dave! I will be anxious to see some more. Were you panning down the track by holding the phone/camera or did you have it mounted on a tripod or something similar? This has me all jazzed up to try some now  . When Bill was inquiring about good phones for video a couple weeks or so back, I took the plunge and got a new phone. Haven't had an opportunity to play with it as yet but might have to go play now  . Keep up the good work!!

Ended up getting an iPhone 7, curious to see what it can do. Big jump from flip phone! |

I used an I phone 6 that has the slow motion feature and can be picked up on e bay for about 125.00 now. I hand held the phone and tried to keep up with the cars as they went down the track. If the cars were much faster I would not be able to keep up.
