Here's a shoutout to Rick for the great vintage Vette bodies that he makes. Both the Wing Nut and Alley Cat II cars were Hairy Carany creations. Tried to do you proud Rick.
We don't have to go any further than our own Nitro Slots buddies to get some of the best resin bodies available anywhere!

Let me second that shout out Bill! Rick's bodies are always top quality and great designs. I do miss having them readily available and certainly cherish the one's that I still have. Rick has always been extremely generous to me from my very first time on the forum and for that I am very thankful!
Bill you definitely did the bodies proud!

Bill you did a outstanding job on all your cars. But The WingNut is very cool and unique. And I love that idea. I love seeing my bodies finished and all the different paint schemes and different variations guys come up with. Hopefully it won’t be long until I’m back casting again. After I get my race track set back up of coarse😁 Rick

Rick,
We're all looking, forward to having you back at the track. Also looking forward to reopening your body works. Until then we'll cherish your leftovers and seconds.
By the way, Wing Nut is the body mentioned in a previous post, that was painted with what is supposed to be Aztek silver pearl. Looks more like white pearl. Wonder what their white pearl looks like?

Bill, what base color did you use under the Aztek silver pearl?

Bill, what base color did you use under the Aztek silver pearl? Al, The pearl was sprayed over white primer. Same as what was used under the blue Vettes but their came out more true. Bill

perhaps try silver or gold base under pearls and transparent (candy!) colors.

I use white and silver base coats a lot, but sometimes darker base coats can be used as well for some cool effects.

Bill DITTO!Well their white pearl looks exactly like the Taz Man Camaro. I think those colors are transparent not so much opaque. I painted the Pearl White over a gray base and it came out Silver.
