I purchased one of the new Jag DR GT chassis along with a narrow stocker from Jag which is also fairly new. The results were for out of the box chassis with only about 10 seconds of break in. I ran it against the new narrow standard DR chassis with had the same type of rear tires and rims. The GT was stronger in every way. Traction magnets were the same but the motor magnets read in the 1300-1400 range, vs 800-900 for the stocker. It would pull the guide pin out of the groove at the start which means it will needs a wheelie bar. I put the blade type guide pin in and it was OK for now. The armature read in the 3.5-3.7 range which would put it in the Comp- Super Comp class. I have done nothing to these chassis except oil and run them on the track. The GT was about .15 quicker and 5 MPH faster than the standard DR. DR-1 GT vs standard

I will let everyone know how I make out after making some Comp mods. This is probably the fastest out of the box chassis you can buy
except for the 100.00 Scale Auto or 50.00 Viper chassis. For the price 30.00 it will be hard to beat.

If my understanding of the rules is accurate, the GT magnets will not be legal for this race.

The GT magnets are stronger than the standard DR magnets, (in the poly range), and I don't believe Jeff will allow them in super stock.
