Someone just paid 1650.00 on E bay for 120 T jet chassis which were used and were not all complete. I have sold some used T jet chassis recently and I am lucky to get 20.00 each. I know they are asking 30+ for NOS now. Must be some sort of panic going on?

Some people just pay crazy prices on ebay. There was a recent auction that included AFX Nomad and 55 Chevy parts. Just a hand full of bumpers, 2 sets windows and a hood scoop. All of it looked worn and well used. The bidding was over $60 when I saw it.
Were the chassis bid up that high or Buy It Now?

27 bids with quite a few over a thousand. At one point the bid went from 750. to 1200.

I would think certain model motoring bodies might grab big money. Those prices seem a little out of hand for "shelf cars" to me but hey,Daddy always said some folks have more dollars than cents lol

about two years ago I was selling NOS (fresh out of cases) chassis including two screws and a guide pin for $17.50 +shipping each. looks like I could have doubled the price had I waited. LOL

Yes Al you would have made lots more. Several recent sales of used and reconditioned t jet chassis went for 20.00 - 28.50. One bare used chassis sold for 15.00. New old stocks are going for about 35-45.00 each. Don't know why, has everybody decided to build Tjets all of a sudden?
