After dealing with some seriously debilitating health issues (autoimmune system and psoriatic arthritis) over the last year, with all being well now, I take delivery of a TKO 1/8 mile strip today. Hopefully up and running over the nest 2-3 weeks. There is a handful of locals already wanting to race. We will be running a combination of NITRO and DRHOE rules since they are predominately the two main organizations out there. This way if anyone travels or we have visitors. cars are rule compliant for the most part. I am already considering a future expansion to a full 1/4. Victory Dragway is coming to fruition. I will post pics as construction begins and continues.

Well, I got side tracked for a couple reasons. One is I am still wrestling with what timing system to use on the dragstrip. The other is I've been spending too much time, and money, on collecting the old HOs I grew up with. Took some time last week (vacation) and laid out the track in the picture. It is all Aurora lock and joiner track and based off the old Tub track design with some personal preferences changes. I have started building a permanent 4' x 12' (may go 14') table for it. Should have it somewhat race ready by Christmas. After that I will start on the drag strip, which I am pretty sure I will stretch out to a full 1/4. ![]()  |

What a great looking road course! Look forward to seeing the drag strip! I wish I had room for a full 1/4mi.
