What happened to all the guys that use to race? Where did everybody go? Al works hard setting up the track and the last race no response let’s show al some love and hopefully he will have a race in April. I was off a couple of years for health reasons but. I am back.i want to build this up not close down. So what do you say guys? I want to hear some responses.

I guess nobody wants to race Mac you need to give people a chance to respond. Days not hours. I personally would love to race a race in April if Al chooses to have one. We will be opening the Race Calendar up for scheduling soon so we can get races scheduled.

Mac, don't lose hope yet. I will certainly schedule a proxy race on my home 1/8 track in the spring. I would like to have a live race somewhere too, but the people who used to come to those races don't read these threads. you need to plead elsewhere to reach them. thank you for the support and I hope you have Happy Holidays.

If I was close enough for the live race I would be there in a heartbeat! Hell I would be doing whatever Al needed to help him get set up for it. I hope to see both in the next year. Always have enjoyed the pictures and results from the live events.

Jeff, thanks for the good thoughts. our local live racing ebbs and flows, so I am glad to have found Nitro. I know how lucky I have been to attend live races in various scales over a couple (3+) decades and I really appreciate that there are those who do not have that luxury. so a BIG THANK YOU to all those who support NITRO and especially those who host races.

I also would attend Al's races if I were close enough. Some times it is hard to get the word out. Fortunately we have this site to keep us going.

Like Jeff and Dave, I'd love to attend one of Al's live races.
Proxy racing is the next best thing to being there. It would probably be blast to assist a proxy race host run one of his events.
It would be great to meet any of you guys in person.
One thing you can be sure of: we wont leave Al hanging if he hosts a proxy event.

Would love to attend Al's races but 800 miles is a bit of a drive for me. I lurk here at NITRO to see what is happening elsewhere in HO drag racing. Building my own strip as I'm not a big fan of proxy racing. Starting to look as though we'll have a handful of local racers when Victory Dragway is up and running.

Personally I would like to attend any of the races live but, 4000 plus miles and the Atlantic are quite a lot to cross. It would be great to meet some of you personally. I would though send my cars over for Als race when it takes place.

I have been to a few of Al's races and have always enjoyed myself, I look forward to future races. Skippack is about 105 miles from me, but thats an easy drive...
Im going to Bloom Hobby tonight to check out their tracks, they have large scale and HO drag strips and race tracks. Jess
