I have nothing but great memories of every race Al Pink ever hosted that I have raced. I know I haven’t been racing much do to many life changing events, but just this fall started up again. Some local friends with road curse tracks started racing on Monday nights for fun. We race 3 classes, stock Tyco Pro, stock T-jet with silicon tires, and Super stock T-jet which is same as stock but with Johnny Lighting rear wheels and silicon tires. The house we race at has two 4 lane road curse tracks and a full length drag strip that nobody really uses much. I find people aren’t that into drag racing as much and I believe the work to build and maintain a competitive drag car is just more work and time then a lot of people I know have or want to put into the hobby lately.
Don’t loose hope for the hobby, what Nitroslots has to offer is a great program of racing for anyone around the world. All you can do is invite people to trying joining in on the fun and remember to keep it fun.

Hope all is well with you and yours. Tom that’s Ditto for me what Jeff and Al said. It would be good to see you back racing on NitroSlots again. Tom what you said about these little drag cars taking a lot of time to build and maintain. Unbelievable amount of time, money and frustration to run these little cars. Then when you add in the painting and customizing you get a lot invested in one car. Then when you think about what the Race Masters do so we have a place to race our little creations is very impressive and Very Appreciated. It’s a pretty cool hobby where a bunch of guys and gals from all over the World that has never met can become such good friends. Think that’s what makes NitoSlots so cool. Rick. |
