Is that one of the 4Gear Duster bodies on the top left side of the pile? The crew is excited about the possibility of Wonder Woman riding back home in the hauler with them. Wonder if she would want to join the bazooka crew? No Duster Bill. That is one of my 4g Novas. |

3g Stock Round 1 is complete.....
Race 1 Kstocks vs Nosub. First cars to hit the concrete are way off their Qualifying times, but it was still a great race. They lead swap all the way down the track with Kstocks Mustang over Nosub by a car. 1.6078et to 1.6455et.
Race 2 Ecbill vs Triple52. This was a one sided race. The dick Landy Charger has trouble getting down the track. Ecbill makes a solid pass and turns on the win light. 1.2767et to 2.3965et.
Race 3 Gnome vs Kstocks. On paper this is an even race and that transfers to the track as well. Kstocks is second out of the hole but is ahead by 60'. The Mustang continues to pull past 660'. But the big block Pontiac starts to eat on the big end and passes the Ford in the speed trap! Gnome wins 1.2215et to 1.2342et.
Race 4 Alpink vs Alpink. Team car vs Team car right off the bat. The blue and white Camaro is missing bad as it stages. They launch and it is evident something is wrong with that car. The Patriotic Camaro is going to Round 2. 1.3027et to 2.0455et.
Race 5 Mazda vs Triple52. Both cars run better than their Qualifying times. The UK Trans Am leads at every interval and sends the Sox & Martin GTX to the trailer. 1.2016et to 1.8553et.

3g Stock Round 2 is complete. All cars seem to be running well. Let's see who's moving on.....
Race 6 GTS vs Nosubfor3. GTS found some power overnight and betters his Qualifying time. Nosub's GTX falls off slightly and hands the win to the Camaro. 1.0984et to 1.2189et.
Race 7 GTS vs Sjracer. The Corvette runs it's number and pulls away while GTS's Camaro's performance falls off. Sjracer moves on to the Quarter Finals. 1.1663et to 1.2555et.
Race 8 Ecbill vs Hairy Canary. This should be a close race....and it is. Bill's Nomad gets the holeshot and leads past 60'. The pink '55 starts pulling and is by at the 660' and never looks back. HC wins 1.1939et to 1.2330et.
Race 9 Dave632 vs Kstocks. The Mustang lays down a better run in a losing effort against the #1 Qualifier. The Nomad is running strong with good MPH on the top end. Dave moves on 1.0382et to 1.5551et.
Race 10 Gnome vs Ecbill. Ecbill is up against a fast #4 Qualifier Mustang. The Camaro is gradually losing performance and doesn't have anything for Gnome. The Mustang is looking strong for the next round 1.0889et to 1.3274et.
Race 11 Gnome vs Sjracer. This was a good race. The Trans Am launches on the Vette and pulls it to 330'. Sjracer takes over from there and drives around to turn on the win light. The Corvette slows slightly but wins 1.1547et to 1.2425.
Race 12 Dave632 vs Alpink. I'm going to say it.......the Camaro needs a miracle and I've seen things happen. The lights go green and neither car slows down, but the Challenger gets it done and runs over 14mph out the back. Dave wins 1.0304et to 1.2802et.
Race 13 Mazda vs Hairy Canary. Trans Am vs Trans Am. Two of the best looking cars on the property this weekend are running head to head. HC is at #3 and shows why. Mazda is out first and is better down low but the yellow Firebird gets rolling just past 60' and wins easily. 1.0594et to 1.3568et.

We are into the MEAT of the Class now. Two cars improved their ET's, GTS's Camaro and Hairy Canary's Firebird. Everybody else slowed down. Three race teams still have both of their cars in the race. We all know how it goes in racing. It ain't over till it's over. Quarter Finals coming up......

All right, there were some great races that bunch. Especially Hairy Canary's win over EC Bill by only .04 and SJ racers win over GTS by .09.
Congratulations to all who have made it this far. The next round promises to have some real squeakers at the ETs are pretty close.
The late model Challenger I entered had set high MPH for all the cars I ran on my track when trying out for the race. It had hit 15.1 MPH which is actually not
bad for a 14 ohm stocker when running at 20 volts. This car also hit over 20 MPH when running at 20 volts. The 57 Nomad also hit over 14 running a
best of 14.2.

3g Stock Quarter Final results.
Race 14 Dave632 vs GTS. Dave's Nomad is just plain fast! It gets out of the hole and builds it's lead early in the run. The Camaro matches it's mph and keeps it there through the traps. GTS is going home. The Nomad is in the Semis 1.0250et to 1.1349et.
Race 15 Gnome vs Sjracer. Both cars launch close together. The Mustang pulls out to about 3 cars and it stay there. The Corvette doesn't give up anymore ground and better his ET, but Gnome is the one THE ONE moving on. The Mustang will face the #1 Nomad next. 1.1190et to 1.1352et.
Race 16 Dave632 vs Sjracer. Sjracer has back to back tough match ups and the Corvette needs to find some more performance from somewhere. The Challenger is running on mean and blisters the track with more big mph on the top end to take the win. 1.0447et to 1.1808et. I bet he races Hairy Canary in the Semis....
Race 17 Hairy Canary vs Hairy Canary. Team cars going at it. The Firebird is getting faster with every round. The '55 wheelhops at the hit and it's over right there. The Firebird lays down another improved run on his way to the Semis to meet up with a Challenger 1.0580et to 1.3213et.

Wow, Gnomes race vs. SJ was a real close one with only .02 separating the cars. That has to be the closest one yet. I was betting on HC to win race #17 and I was right.
Congratulations once again on all who made the Semis. The 3G class has a lot of tough cars in it. Good luck to all, looking forward to the semis. Only a .09 spread between all 4 cars in the semis, should be a good one.
