3g Stock Semi Finals ladder
Is Dave632 going to run the table in Class racing this weekend or will Gnome and Hairy Canary have anything to say about it. It's going to be a tall order to get past th #1 and #2 Quaifiers.
As with the Tjet Stock, I will be doing slow motion videos of the Semi Finals and the Finals races. I will post them once I get them edited.

The results from the Semi Finals are in. Was anyone able to stop the Tennessee onslaught? One car ran the best ET of eliminations.
Semi Final 1 Dave632 vs Gnome. Good run for the Mustang against a strong Chevy. The Nomad didn't need to, but steps it up and runs low ET of the weekend to go to the Finals. 1.0026et to 1.1437et. Who will he face? Will it be Hairy Canary for the west coast or his team car? Could we see a sub 1.00 pass?
Semi Final 2 Dave632 vs Hairy Canary. Both cars slow slightly this round. The Challenger is out early, but the mph falls off on the top end. Hairy Canary's Pontiac was reeling in the Mopar, but it was too little too late. It will be an all Tennessee Final. Challenger 1.0690et to 1.0975et.

2020 NTRA King of the Streets Finals are set!Dave632 '57 Nomad vs Dave632 ChallengerBoth cars have blistered the track pass after pass sending all of their competition packing! Now it's time to see who the top dog on the Team is........
It was a good race, but no sub 1.00 pass. Both cars leave together and the Nomad steadily pulls away from the Challenger the length of the 1000' and turns the win light on for the right lane! The Nomad brings home the crown for Dave632! 1.0616et to 1.0838et.

Congrats to Gnome and Hairy Canary for making the semis. Here are my best times for both cars on my track: The Challenger actually had the best ET and MPH of both cars hitting .9856 @ 15.19, the 57 ran a best of .9960 @ 14.20. It seems like the Nomad is being amazingly consistent, not varying more than .03 for all its runs and it looks like the Challenger has some work to do. At my track the 57 would consistently out 60' the Dodge which had to play catch up and it did at times. The Nomad made its slowest pass of the day but still hung on for a win. Thanks for putting on this race Jeff, nice job with great coverage.  |

Congratulations again Dave your a hard one to beat😁 We gave it are best. It makes us work just that much harder to make us make these little monsters faster. Big congratulations Dave well earned but i must say i was pulling for Hairy Canary. Thanks for hosting the race JJ it's been a well running event as usual! I sure would like to see bill get that golden lasso around Dave heck I'd settle for a square hit from a bazooka. Would also like to thank all the sponsors the generosity is greatly appreciated! It's cool to see so many fast cars knowing the time it takes to build one,thank you everyone for taking the time!!!

Thanks for all the appreciation. Smoky Mountain will have only my filler cars in classes if there are not enough entries as I will be hard at work running the race, cept for the Unlimiteds. Gnome I understand, I would feel the same way. Be advised Bill sent his Bazooka crew at one of the last few races and they are still hiding in the woods at the end of my track. So far their aim has been off, lucky for me. ECBill I did not know Wonder Woman had a twin but I will not hog both of them,,,,, maybe. Once again thanks to Jeff for holding a great event, nice job. |
