Race Update
After unpacking more of the cars, there are several racers that have sent giveaway items that have not previously been listed as sponsors. I will update the Sponsor list accordingly. The generosity is greatly appreciated! Lots of good stuff to pass out!

Good luck to all at the race. Hope everyone is doing fine and staying safe. Many of us have been impacted some way by this current virus. At least we have this hobby to help keep us going. So hang in there as this to will pass.

So hang in there as this to will pass. I agree as we in England have been told to stay at home, only to go out for essential food shopping. All non essential shops have been forced to close by the government. At least it is giving me time to catch up on the jobs around the house and some car building. I think you guys are underestimating just how slow my t-jet will be. Anyway let’s have some good racing and most of all KEEP SAFE.

mazda, most folks here in USA are under similar restrictions. hopefully folks will understand and obey allowing health care to get a handle and stop the rapid spread.
looking forward to seeing your cars. maybe Jeff will have a little sort of side event at the end..... slowest car show down!

The government is forcing me to stay home and play with slot cars. I better do what they say .

Haulers through the Bear Creek gates today....
Alpink Sjracer
All the entries have arrived. I will get these last two boxes unpacked today and do some arrival pics later. Qualifying starts....maybe tonight, but tomorrow for sure. There is one more car that is listed in the race, but I have not heard anything from him. He was due to be in the PSO Shark Pool. I don't know if that car is still coming or not. List cars will be the last to run so there is still time. It will not hold anything up. OK racers we are set to begin. Stay tuned.....

I haven't had much time to look at my List cars and when I did tune them the were dog slow. So I did some tuning today before I start Qualifying cars for the race tomorrow. I put all of the cars up at the same time. So today was the last chance I was going to get. Started finding some long lost speed in the 4GO and then it happened.........blown fricken crown gear! I hate the stock AW gear because it is weak. The 4g Specialty gear is too small in diameter. We've all been there but dang! My cars have run terrible for awhile. As soon as one starts showing promise and BA BAM! Anyway....I tried running a stock AFX gear and it seems to be working very well. I know it's been done before, but it looks like a good option. Required sanding the bump on the back side off for clearance, but that is all. Got the speed back and then some. I could probably drop a tire size and go a little faster, but I'm scared . I put it up with the rest of the cars. I thought I would share that story and the gear tip........we can all relate.

Jeff I had that same problem😝 is why my Aces Wild Willy’s didn’t make the trip. My plan was to finish tuning on Saturday before I mailed them out Saturday afternoon. But I found out late Friday I had to work Saturday. A rarity for me to work on Saturday’s. So I had some midnight slot car oil to burn. Made the final test runs and the Willy’s blew the crown at midnight and had to get up at 3am. I mailed all the other cars out Saturday and I thought I would get the Willy’s fixed Sunday and mail it out on Monday and I would be good. Wrong !! All day Sunday and late into the night and a pile of striped crowns and cluster gears later. I never had a problem with the crown gear in the 4G cars but I do now. Plus I got so lost on my tune up and the wreckage that’s left I’m going to have to start on a new 4GO chassis for Daves race. Plus I blew up my only stock T Jet so all the cars are all brand new builds and all was a nightmare. I didn’t get a chance to finish some things so I hope they do ok ? I learned a lot on these builds, I just Hope I can remember the good stuff I learned🙃 Good Luck to all participants. Ready for some good racin😃

**RACE UPDATE**
Qualifying and arrival/Qualifying pictures will start later this afternoon. I will post Qualifying times before the end of the day. Racing starts bright and early Friday morning. I plan on running Tjet on Friday, 3 gear on Saturday, and List cars Sunday. That is certainly subject to change depending on how smooth things are going. I have some personal things to do this morning and plan on getting everything going mid afternoon......ish!
2020 NTRA King of the Streets
Begins today!!

This is awesome ...... Work is slow with all the turmoil so I can keep up on the action as it happens. When all in America get your "virus" update/newsletter in the mail from the Uncle Sugar government know that it was produced where yours truley is employed. Good luck to all and Thank you to our Racemaster for his time & efforts.

Lookin forward to the racing action, good luck to all and thanks to Jeff for his time and effort in holding the race, and all the sponsors., Its a lot of work for Jeff but also a lot of fun racing the cars. Jeff/Rick, we have all had a good running car go bad so we feel your pain. My exception is the old Rebel chassis, (and I am jinxing myself saying this), is still running the same everything it started with years ago except for motor brushes. Even that however will fall off if I don't keep up maintenance.
