well guys .... waited until the last possible moment again. started Friday and thrashed with only a few hours sleep here and there. my SS cars are mostly stock with only braids added. my index cars are all stock AW 4 gear, so they might not be in the zone. in any case, I had to build Hank's cars too ..... he has been in hospital for almost a week and is due to come home today. I am waiting for a call to go pick him up. like I said, didn't test anything and barely broke in most of the cars, but I filled my part of the commitment. not sure how the unlimiteds are gonna run on the voltage suggested, so don't count on me being head of the class. I certainly gave each one (built one for SJracer too) my best ability with what I know and the parts available. 9470 1282 0633 4036 2482 44 Al How is Hank doing it is nice to have a opportunity to help our friends and fellow racers, Hanks cars look great! Al Pink and Hanks cars just arrived along with a batch of prizes and SJRacers Unlimited. Pictures to follow
as soon as all is sorted out. Hairy Canary added a couple of index cars and Hanks cars will put the count well OVER 100 for this race.

My cars are showing that they were delivered this morning as well....fyi. I'm pumped for the race!!

Yes Jeff your cars arrived also. Why would the PO put one package on the porch and stuff the other in the mail box?

Why would the PO put one package on the porch and stuff the other in the mail box? eternal unanswerable question wait, maybe .... my package was larger and Priority Express ( 1 day shipping ). sometimes, some packages get put on a different delivery vehicle so the regular carrier delivers one package and the "special" carrier delivers others. maybe the answer. I too had one package in my mailbox today and one on the front edge of the porch. Hank is doing very good and out walking around which he couldn't do under quarantine conditions in the hospital. and, yes!, Hank and I go a long way back and have been partners in crime for a long time. so it was with out saying that I would make sure his entries got delivered. |

They do it here also. I always imagined it was because of what Al said, i.e., 2 different deliveries.

Both packages Priority mail in the same size box. The one in the mailbox barely fit. Both my neighbors
have oversized mailbox's now, (all three sit beside each other), mine used to be the biggest but they outdid me.
Only reason I don't go bigger is because mine has the extra flag that pops up when the door is opened. Theirs don't
have that feature and it is handy to have.

Running on borrowed time. I got my cars sent out today. I over nighted them. Should be there by 12 tomorrow it says. I was trying to get a third car together for unlimited but that didn't happen. Always next time... Sent in 1 car for stock and 1 for super stock. Sam/Skillet  Attachments:

Thanks Al, you probably seen them before in their beginning state.
Whats the stickers on your cars. I didn't mark mine. I just rolled them in those papers.

Skillet the stickers are to help identify everyone's cars and the class they run in. After running the cars for a few days your
head starts to turn to jelly so the stickers help a lot.
