Working on some window decals and masks for Jeff’s Vegas. All along I thought the Hot Wheels Vega was the basis for these bodies, but it’s substantially smaller. Was hoping to use the HW glass as a template, to get a precise image. Those in the picture where developed by putting scotch tape on a body and tracing glass with a sharpie. Attachments:

I have found that doing decals for the windows has a better look in a lot of cases than paint does. I am looking forward to seeing your results!

What kind of diecast did you use to make your Vega? Bill that was blemished body that I got from another caster. It was in pretty bad condition....there were no bumpers, the rear wheel wells were messed up, engine sticking out of the hood, etc. It was pretty much a total rebuild. I don't know where that body originated. I haven't seen a die cast like it.

Man, you did a heck of a job on it! Both renditions came out great.

I have one that I stripped years ago to cast and never got to it. But the windows wasn’t with the body, I have them some place ?. I compared it to one of Jeffs and it’s the same. And Jeff did a awesome job on them. If your not in a hurry ? If I can find the window I’m trying to finish a couple of bodies I want to cast this weekend if time permits ? I can mold up and cast some windows for you. If my mold and resin material is still good ? I have a brand new gallon of mold material over a year old that is still in the box and the resin has been open for over a year and I have over a gallon of that left. So if all of that has gone bad it may be longer😬 here is a link to one on eBay. I’m like Jeff I can’t wait to see yours finished. www.ebay.com/itm/174168704048Rick
