Thanks Dave - the layout and most of the words are mine, although a few people are now contributing their own stuff.
Jeff - we have a second 5-race Winter Series starting in November, so that should be time to get something together and hitch a ride back to the UK from your race. The format and regs are outlined pages 4-6 in the latest fanzine.

In the regulations that you referenced it says that the capacitor and resistors can be removed. The rules you previously posted on the Drag Strip thread references having them. My question is can they be removed? I have 3 cars to work with now that Clive sent me two more. I am trying to get them ready and will just include them with your cars on the return trip. Thank you guys for the opportunity. I'm excited to race over there. Jeff

Hi Jeff - yes, they can be removed. Next week’s race is the last with the Summer Series rule set. They are superseded by the Winter Series rules from November.
It’ll be great to have you on the start line!

Maybe next time.

The Choke and Capacitor are only there for RF interference. Which you can see on your TV set when the cars are ran. It will have no effect on the performance of the cars.

If you'd like a little European Hors-d'œuvre before the big race in Texas at the weekend, the climax of the our summer season is taking place over the next couple of days. There's six classes and lots of cars...
Qualifying for the three main classes has just finished...

The season finale coverage has now been collected together in the latest fanzine, which also includes a summary of the regs for our Winter Series.

A slightly chaotic and delayed start to the Winter Series... but the action finally took place today.
It was fabulous to have a strong Nitro Slots contingent from across the pond taking part!
Jeff won Micro Scalextric Street Stock on debut...
And Dave was runner-up in the new Micro Scalextric Super Stock 6.0 class...
All the coverage is at: slotracer.online/community/showthread.php?tid=1715

Clive told me that my car made it just in the nick of time. Thank you Andy for allowing me to run with you gals and guys! I am absolutely honored and blown away at the win! Thanks goes to Clive as well for providing the cars for me to work with. Checking out the coverage now. Wow!! I'm excited.....
