You are welcome Al. I have found such a wide variety of gauss range with ceramic magnets that I rarely worry about magnets when I am tuning a car. The difference magnets make, that I have found, is in the 60' & 330' times. There better magnets usually make some difference if the car has the traction to take advantage of it. Many cars, I have found, will start yanking the front end off the ground, even with wheelie bars, and causing the ET to be worse because of poor rail contact. Therefore there is usually a compromise between stronger and weaker motor magnets there as well as matching them to the arm. I have killed the performance of some cars when trying even Poly motor magnets in some of them. The Neo motor magnets are useless in all but sub 1 ohm Unlimiteds. The yellow dragster I recently sent to Jeff's race had Poly magnets in it and it had a sub 1 ohm arm in it. I know it would have been slower if I put Neos in it as that chassis could not have handled it.

This notice is for everyone running the Street Outlaw list race.
3GO voltage has been increased to 20 volts.
This is a permanent change so please test your cars at this voltage. Don’t know how many times I forgot to switch back to 18v during testing. Thanks!

Yes Bill, that's one of the main reasons I voted for the switch. I have done the same thing countless times. The slight increase in speed and ET should not effect anyone's tune very much. Make sure your wheelie bar is not set too high as the cars may yank the guide pin out of the slot even with the bars. I set mine at about .020 or about a fingernail width.

Thanks for telling us about your track Dave. I just realized how important that is. I have some tyco track wich the rail is slightly higher than afx. With that rail being slightly higher im thinking I may need a touch bigger front tire to keep the flow of my car going for the different track. Skillet

If I remember right the rail height on the Max Track is .013-.014. which is higher than AFX or Tyco.

Hey Dave, can you put me down for 1 inline s/s, 1 pro mod 2.5, 1 shark pool for 3 gear, 1 sharkpool for 4 gear. I read that inline s/s no longer allows timing changes on the super G+ chassis. Also the street oulaws 3 gear is now 20v, what voltage on 4 gear? Looking forward to this race, been a while for me, quess I got some catching up to do. Thanks, Mike Marvin
