My friend Keith had a Pinto Gibb, some how the car had a spilt in the structure (unibody) and the car would flex in the middle. The car never passed inspection and he drove it everyday about 30 miles round trip to work. I think it would get 36 miles to the gallon. Keith had a few cars with those specs LOL!

I don't think I ever even rode in a pinto. Gremlin, vega, colt, pacer, chevette, yes, I learned to drive in a '63 vw beetle. Hmmm maybe a pinto ride added to the bucket list

you can remove some of that excess with a file or a dremel. you will continue to improve your soldering skills the more you try. consider buying some used pick up shoes, of all kinds, to make braided pickups with. afterall it doesn't matter if they are worn all the way through.

I remember thinking back then that a Pinto with a Cleveland would be really hot.

There were Pintos at the drag strip with V8s in them. Light cars ran good but the short wheelbase made them tricky to keep straight.

That dream Cleveland Pinto was going to be black with a light shining though a prism and resulting rainbow, ala Pink Floyd. Al would be impressed!

There’s no accounting for things on eBay. So much doesn’t make sense. 2 weeks ago a Ram truck I had listed was bid up to $26.50. Joker never paid. Relisted it, and it only sold for $7.50. Agreed, stimulus money is likely driving the crazy prices,
