Match 1 Alan Sox & Martin Cuda vs Kstocks Ramcharger
Race 1 Both drivers are up on the wheel but the Sox & Martin Cuda gets the holeshot and continues to pull through the traps. Alan draws first blood 1.0127et to Kstocks 1.1135et.
Race 2 Kstocks gets a better light this time and leads past the 660' but Alan gets up on that big 'ole tire and rolls right around the Ramcharger. Alan 1.0114et to Kstocks 1.0568et.

Match 2 Matt Lightning Park S'Cool Bus vs GTS Fanztang Mustang
Race 1 GTS is out in front off the hit and it's looking good. Then the bus starts rollin and all those kids start cheering and it rolls right on by the Mustang. Matt 1.0227et to GTS 1.1847et.
Race 2 This time Matt is out front from the green light on and takes the Match decisively. Matt in 2 1.0012et to GTS 1.1882et.
NZ wins Match

Match 3 Richard Scribble Cuda vs Gnome Garlits Charger FC
Race 1 Richard is no joke but then again that is no surprise. He runs well here at Bear Creek. The Cuda leads at every interval and gaps the Charger. Richard .9659et to Gnome 1.0016et.
Race 2 (cars are in the wrong lane for pic oops) The Cuda picks it up a couple of hundredths and the Charger stumbles at the hit and slows because of it. Richard .9367et to Gnome 1.0581et.

Match 4 Kiwidave Con Man Mustang vs Skillet White Bear Dodge
Race 1 I don't know, but things aren't starting out very well for the Nitroslots Team. They are trying to stay upbeat but the Kiwi cars are looking really strong. There's still a lot of races left.
These cars are taking their time staging but they're in and off on a short light. Skillet knows what's at stake and is out first to 60' but that's when the Mustang took over and showed him his taillights. Kiwidave runs low number so far .9291et to Skillet 1.0504et.
Race 2 Kiwidave turned it up for this race and never saw the Dodge after the green. He runs low number again and was flirting with a sub .9 on that run. The Con Man .9045et to Skillet 1.0745et.

NZ 4 NS 0
Match 5 Ron The Rolls vs Hairy Canary Hairy Canary Cuda FC
Race 1 Ron is out to 60' first in the Rolls. The HC Cuda starts to pull from there to the finish line and takes the win driving away. Hairy Canary .9165et to Ron 1.1057et.
Race 2 The Rolls picks it up for this pass but so does the Cuda and it leads the length of the track. Hairy Canary .9077et to 1.0685et.

Things are starting to get concerning with Nitroslots. There's only a few more opportunities before the chance to take back the trophy disappears. I am not surprised by the performance of the Kiwi cars at all. At this point match ups would not have mattered. Every NZ car is fast. Well......enough talk. It is what it is. Let's see if we can get after it. The NZ Team is staying calm and serious. They are all business and not showing any emotion.
 Match 6 Mustang Paul Greenies vs Swiftkart Snap On Camry  Race 1 Mustang Paul lays down fastest run so far to beat Swiftkart. Wow! The Camry makes a stout pass but that Mustang of MP is fast! Greenies .8916et to Camry .9398et.  Race 2 More of the same from Mustang Paul with a sub .9 pass. It went down through there so smooth. Swiftkart makes a good run just not good enough. MP .8893et to Swiftkart .9353et. NZ 5 NS 1 Match 7 Alan Shop Truck vs Finistauri Lucky Impala  Race 1 The Shop Truck is slow off the line and the Impala jumps out. That was short lived though....the truck starts eating and cruises past on the big end for the win. Alan 1.0413et vs Finistauri 1.1774et.  Race 2 Alan made some adjustments to the tune and the truck is out first on the Impala and never looks back. Alan in two with a sub 1.00 pass .9869et to 1.2612et. NZ 6 NS 1
 Match 8 Richard Jungle Jim vs Ecbill Kiwi Challenger This is the last chance for Nitroslots to win the Challenge right here. We would need to win out to get it done. Not likely but we won't give up till the end.  Race 1 Sandfly is always fast at Bear Creek no matter what he's driving and he proves that again by going wire to wire to take out Ecbill. The Kiwi Challenger seems to be having some kind of issue. Richard .9586et to 1.2689et.  Race 2 That's it.....N.Z. secures the Kiwi Challenge win with that pass from Richard. .9544et to Ecbill 1.2913et. NZ 7 NS 1 **New Zealand secures the Kiwi Challenge win**
 Match 9 Mustang Paul Trojan Horse vs Sjracer Summit Pontiac  Race 1 Closest race of the day. Sjracer steps it up and almost gets it done for the win. But The Horse pulled out a couple of lengths on the big end. MP .9677et to .9849et.  Race 2 Mustang Paul got quicker and Sjracer got slower. Not a good combination for a Nitroslots win. The Trojan Horse gets it done in two. .9577et to 1.0150et. NZ 8 NS 1 Match 10 ImpalaPo Stupid Fast Racing vs JJWallace Twisted Texan Pinto  Race 1 JJ runs the quickest ET of the day to get around ImpalaPo. He was right there the whole way though. JJWallace .8880et to .9718et.  Race 2 JJ is going to get it done in two with anopther sub .9 run. ImpalaPo slowed slightly from the previous run .8958et to 1.0881et. NZ 8 NS 2 |

so we have a grandstand of spectators waiting for the final results, so far thanks to all racers and the track master for an epic race meet.
