Looks like the challenge has been accepted. Hopefully Sam has time to run the race!

I have a few questions please?
The rules for Gasser/pancake say "Original top plate gears only." How does this rule apply to a Wizz-Jet chassis that doesn't come with any gears? Can we install those cheap $6 Dash gear sets?
Dash chassis now have an option where they come pre-assembled with original Dash top plates and gears. Are these legal with a mean green arm?
Thanks, Ken

We got a call out match. I couldn't think of two better cars to go ghost hunting. The call is in... who will be first on the scene. Will the ghost busters be able to get away from slimer in time. Will Scooby-Doo find a scooby snack. Will there be a ghost or will it turn out to be the bazooka crew? Be sure to tune in your favorite channel and watch the show down. SUMMER SLAM JULY 4TH WEEKEND... be there.

Question to Crossfire and Gnome. Would you like to call out before or after the race. I would kind of like to do it before the race so you don't have times to see. I can do it either way.
Note to everyone: I'm open to run call outs or if during the race someone wants to call some one out to race again after the event. As long as I get an OK from both racers.
I also will except a tuner car if someone wants to try a car on my track that is not in the race classes. Please keep tuner cars to a minimum. 1 or 2 im ok with not your whole collection lol. Tuner cars will be ran after the event, so if you send a tuner your cars will get mailed out last.
Thanks management:-)

I think running them before the race sounds like a good idea. Thanks for fitting this in.

Nothing wrong with a Dash chassis when using it with a mean green arm the Dash chassis would be legal. Some of those Dash chassis came with 10 or 4 ohm armatures. The 4s, called 5 ohm on the Dash site, would not be legal, the 10 would but you would be at a disadvantage. I bought one of the 5 ohm arms and it measured 4.2 ohms on the poles.

Hi Dave,
Thank you very kindly for underlining the Dash armatures. I swapped the 10-Ohm for a 5.9-Ohm mean green. I also had to swap the polymer magnets for ceramics. The car will easily pass tech inspection. You can see the Dash ceramic magnets and mean green armature through the side windows.
I'll save the 10-Ohm arm for a 15-Ohm car that runs like a snail/turtle/sloth on my road race track.

I think as long as they fit each other with out modifications we should be ok.
Example: autoworld tjet top plate ain't fitting a wizzard tjet with out cutting the feet and what ever else.
I'll let the higher ups chime in on this one. For my race if the brands are mixed but fit I'll let it pass. I don't feel that would be an advantage or cheating since we have a weight limit in place.
If I'm wrong or if anyone disagrees please feel free to say something. I want this race to go down on even playing field for everyone.

The rules state original top plate gears and matching of the plate to chassis. Most do not interchange easily anyway and I see little performance advantage. Surely any substitute that has the same number of teeth would be OK where the gears are concerned. I think the rule is there to stop the use of aluminum top plates or highly modified gear plates.
