Had a DRI chassis that snapped of at the guide pin, taking some plastic with it. It was superglued in place. Since I wanted to use the guide pin, I dropped it in a small container of acetone to remove the glue. The acetone turned the DR chassis material to goo.
Don't know it there is a useful application for this info beyond not dropping your DR in acetone. Don't know what the DR is made of, or if acetone might have a similar affect on other chassis'.
Kinda remind me of how some folks melt Tjet body parts in liquid cement, to make body repairs.
