This seemed like the logical place to put this. I'm sure most, if not all, of you have seen this by now but, I thought I'd post it incase some may have missed it. www.onestopslotshop.com/tfxIt is a new Tjet style chassis and looks like they will be coming out with some new pancake hop-up parts along with it. I'd like to hear your opinions on it. I ordered two with 16.5 ohm armature, one 15 tooth crown and the with 19 tooth. Looks like they're getting a little backed up with orders, not surprising lol.

Bet those will fit right in the JL Corvette GS bodies with no mods. Most other Tjet style chassis require mods to either the body or chassis to make it fit.
Really like the snap in rear

Probably needs some drag rims and tires, along with some traction magnets. Thanks for posting.

yes, 11 tooth armature and pinion gears. the site claims that the gear ratio equals a stock t-jet in the end.

I worded my last post poorly and I apologize for that. Pretty much all the cars we run were not designed for what we do with them and were intended for road course type racing. The main problem I see with using this chassis for drag racing, is the all plastic gearing, including the armature/pinion gear. Although, I did switch out the stock 16.5 arm to a mean green and reused the original gear and it hasn't slipped yet.
Also, I ordered both with the 16.5 arms, they ohm out to 17.1 on all three polls.
Again I'm sorry for my poor choice of wording in my last post and maybe this will help clarify what I was trying to get across before.

I have been able to get some good times with an all plastic gear T jet style chassis. The lighter weight is good for acceleration. They are not good for high powered applications however.

I guess will have to get one and see how long it takes us to break it lol. Might be able to use them in a no traction magnet race.

Got my 2 today. They seem to be pretty well laid out. As mentioned, they do sit pretty low. No room to glue traction magnets on the bottom, unless a much bigger tire is used. You might be able to drill into the plastic under the rear motor mag to install trac mags much like Dash Mondo chassis. 3mmx1mm or 3mmx2mm might work.
If you order any TFXs you may as well get some of their countersunk body screws. Regular button heads will drag on the track. If you install braids the stock front tires probably won't touch the track. Haven't gotten there yet.
On a scale 1000' strip they both ran well into the .9s, bone stock. Both ran better with the 15T crown, vs the 19T crown. Its so nice to be able to just snap the rear axle in and out!
Disclaimer: Times were with power supply still set on 26v, from practice for Jeff's race. Will have to try them again on lower voltage for a better comparison.

Making the rear axle able to snap in and out is a good reason to buy one of these. I will have to try one.
