Any idea what is going on? It's a Maga-Traction chassis.

It looks like the tires are either rock hard, or not fully touching the track. Just a quick 12-second guess.

aside from the tires being rock hard, (Thank You Ken) there is something in the slot that the guide pin is hanging up on. new tires, silicone slip on preferably and clean out the slot. cannot hurt to put new O-rings on the front wheels.

Well I think they nailed it but to cover one more off the check list...what guide pin you using. Tomy/autoworld don't like a couple guide pins. Jag is one of them. Change in weather don't help either. It will shrink the slot groove. To fix this I fold 80 grit sand paper in half and run it around the track in the groove. You will feel spots that get tight. Go over those spots until they are free. Once you got it good. Do it one more time with maybe a business card in-between the sand paper and you should have no future problems after that. Your cars will run a little quieter also.

11/2 Follow up: I did replace the front w/new tire's and replaced guide pin w/smaller diameter pin, still spun. Went to a little larger tire and it went down the track. So apperantly the rivets were bottoming out on the rails. Thanks for the help, going to keep these suggestions in mind if other things come up which I am sure they will.
