I know this has been covered before but i can't find it. What distance between the stage and start sensors do most of you use? I never installed the stage sensors. But now i want to make sure i have the car in the same spot every run

Is the measurement from the center of the sensors or from the edges?

How's your system going Mike?

I only have one lane sensorized. Start, 60ft, 660 ft, finish. Works perfect 98 percent of the time. Occasionally the 660 time triggers early for some reason. My mph is measured from 660 to 1000. So my mph is approximately 10% slower than actual. With Thanksgiving coming up I will have my Son, son n law, grandson, grandson n law and my granddaughters boyfriend at my house. I was hoping to maybe do some bracket racing. If there is a football game on tv, the racing probably wont happen. I wznt to get the reat of my sensors installed just in case.

1/2" is a good spacing. Sounds like fun having the family over for a bracket race, I will have to try that.
