Yha maxtrax is booked. I think he's got 3 more tracks to build. Then the start of the next in line list begins. I'm not sure how long it is but I'm number 10 on it lol. We do dragracing but we like road course tracks to...whatcha got hiding in the background? Ha good eye. Its just a simple 4 lane afx track.

I'm finally getting a few MM/PS builds dialed in. I think the firebird is good to go but the camaro is still in need of a little tuning. The inlines have be pretty easy but the pancakes not so much. Seems like all I can get a pancake to do is smoke. I guess the inlines are like a chevy and the pancakes are more like a Ford lol.

I got around to building a drivers station. Still needs some paint but unfortunately I was using oil based paint and now that it's winter and I don't want to open the windows it's going to have to wait till summer. I'm going to get a couple controller holders and wire up a button to run both lanes. I'd like to host a race sometime this year if I can find someone to help out. Unfortunately I can't convince any of my racing buddy's to even look at the track because they already know they will be hooked and end up spending a fortune.

A lot of the 4 gears AW cars respond well to removing one of the traction magnets. Larger diameter tires might get similar results. Some 4 gears won't even get down the track with both magnets, Speaking of smoke, go really lite on oil at the bottom of the armature shaft. Its super easy to contaminate the brushes. Sometimes that leads to smoke. A syringe with oil in it works great. Doesn't even need a full drop.

Great looking set up for sure! Thanks for considering hosting. Keep working on the MM/PS....they will run again this year.

Your times are very good, what voltage did you run them at? Pancakes definitely take a little more getting used to. They can be made to run very well. I have some that have run well for years on the drag strip.

I have some that have run well for years on the drag strip. That was ran at 26 volts. I do believe the issue I was having with my 4 gears is to much oil and it ruined the brushes. I'll replace them and try some more.
