Got a red one and a yellow. Just won one of the Vettes on ebay. Was surprised to find that it's a 1.5" wheelbase. Thinking the yellow one is going to become blue. They put some amazing detail on these things. Since I don't really care for the MegaG+ chassis, I get them from Budshocarsinc on ebay as bodies only. There is usually a lot of competition for these 3 bodies. He also has some nice looking Mustangs and Camaros. Thanks for the info Bill. |

I agree the Mega G+ is not so hot, I will get rid of that chassis. Could not find Budshocarsinc on E bay.

Thanks for that info, Al. I got one of the 71 Chevelle's also. Turned out to be slightly quicker and faster than the 70 which would make a great 1.0 index car. Detail on both cars is excellent.  71 Chevelle

I have not done anything to improve the times, not even oil. I think at my next race I will
run another 1.0 index, seemed to be popular with the racers and you could run any chassis. The
red Chevelle would be a contender, but I will not be in the race.

Decided to add braid to the Chevelle's. Compare to above photo to see the benefit of braid on most cars. First photo is with braid installed on both the 70 and 71. Next photo I put some oil on all the friction spots for a slight improvement. The red one picked up the most with over a tenth better and more than 3 MPH while the yellow one also picked up nicely. The yellow car showed a need for a wheelie bar as it would do a slight wheelie causing it to lose some ET. It had been the faster and quicker car before the addition, but they were very even now.
