Call the fire department those unlimited 4g set the track on fire! I think we can change Swiftkart name into sweeper. Congratulations Steve you da man :-)
Awesome race JJ I think we all were due for this, thank you for hosting. Don't lose sleep on my unlimited, I'm not lol. 2 -26v passes on an experiment I'm happy. ill get that head checked out when it gets back.

Another great event as usual. It is just a shame that my cars didn’t make it, I have just checked and they are still in customs after three weeks  . I hope that I will be able to get some to the next race  . Congratulations to Steve on the wins. There were some blistering times run at this event. |

Good morning racers and race fans. First....thank you for all the good words! That's why I do it. I say this about every raceday, but what a great day of racing yesterday!! Man........that last 4GU Class was a handful to say the least. Not a lot of carnage although I feared the worst after the first pair went down and the Rolls Royce took flight. Wait till ya'll see the video!  But there really was not a lot of carnage as far as wrecks. We had some mechanical, maybe a couple of electrical, and a couple of gears. But we saw that in all the Classes not just Unlimited. My heart rate was up before every run. Those cars are violent.....and I mean violent! They are not like Inlines that just zip down the track.......these things roll and shake down the track. You hear the gears turning. Sadly.........you tuners have surpassed the limitations of Bear Creek Dragway for this Class. I need to extend my shut down before I can run these again and I'm not sure how I'm going to do that. This is one of my favorite Classes so that hurts a little. Everything went well yesterday, I had one body post that broke but other than that there were no issues. But I can't put the cars at risk. We had one car hit 60mph more than once! I have never witnessed that. You guys are awesome!
OK.....enough said about that. Needless to say I was a little dazzled. Today it's all about the Outlaws. I need to reset the Lists to account for the "no shows" and get all that posted, move some cars around, clean the track, and then get to racing. So stay tuned we will be racing soon.......
Congratulations to Steve Tillman for a stellar performance in Tjet Gasser, 4 Gear Stock, and 4 Gear Unlimited!! You have raced in two of my events and have swept both of them! That is an awesome achievement because we have some fantastic builders here. Good job brother! |

Yes thanks for the event and thanks for putting the car into the outlaw class too. Im hoping i can get some helpful info and learn more as i want to get to learn how to upgrade and maintain the cars. Cant wait for the next race. Thanks again everyone.

We have several no shows on both Lists. I was not going to have Mazda drop any spots since his cars are being held up in Customs. All the other no shows will drop their customary two spots. No shows will be identified by an asterick. The rest of the field can race around them. #8 spot is open on the 4GO List so the two Shark Pool cars will be racing around the no shows for that spot. Here are both adjusted Lists Pre Round 1. Two Rounds will be run starting with the shark Pool and racing up from the bottom.
This post has been edited. There was a difference of opinion to the way I was originally going to deal with the no shows and I am in agreement. We will run it like normal with the exception of Mazda's cars. Lists have been corrected.

That seems very fair to me. It would be unfair to bend the rules for one racer as the rules are clearly laid out.
I must apologise for my cars not arriving in time but, I thought that four weeks would be long enough as last time they arrived in about ten days.
