Added the aluminum rear rims to the Beretta. Had to drill out the rims as they are made for .059 axles. Did not change the times any. Beretta alum wheels

Both are nice looking cars!
Aluminum wheels really make them sparkle.
When the time comes. Remind me to paint my Beretta any colour but red. I was considering it. Not anymore.
Just out of curiosity. What colour is the 68-Firebird on the NitroSlots header? Hard to tell with a black&white photo.
Thank you very kindly, Ken

Ty what chassie you putting wheelie bars on? I believe the pro track wheelie bars are for the larger scale slot cars. We just steel the rims. I could most definitely be wrong though.
Let us know what chassie so we can help you out better.

I had it sitting on my build chassis before sending to Dave. In case you didn't know......the car is a replica of Dave's Beretta he raced back in the day.

Does anyone use the protrack wheelie bar? If so how do u assemble it? Hello Ty. Sam posted correctly above. We don't use the wheelie bars. We only use the wheelie wheels for the front wheels on our cars. Most everyone makes their own wheelie bars. Some use small beads for the wheels and others (like myself) do not use wheels at all. I will see if I can find the "how to" thread on installing wheelie bars for you.

The original car was painted what was called Viper red. Jeff got the color pretty close to what it was. Here is a shot of the original. The chassis is extended 10" which is added from the door pillar to the front wheel well, it was made by Don Ness who makes Pro Stock chassis. Front spoiler and wing make the car look much better than a stock one. Car weighed 2200 with me in it. Had an aluminum 632" motor in it with a JW glide. 2 foggers and 2 plates. Could not begin to get the power to the ground that it could make. Needed someone who was a lot better with chassis than I was. Beretta and me
