I have the 4gear chassis but wasnt sure if the bars would be useful or not. But if they are id like to know how they r built. I have an idea but not sure of their length. I recommend wheelie bars anytime they are allowed and we allow them in every Class except Inline Stock. There are different ways to do them. I do a very simple way that has proven to be very effective on all my chassis. The pictures are of one of my 4g Stock builds. I bend a piece of .0475dia brass rod into a "U" shape and then I drill two holes in the chassis that are just slightly larger than the rod and glue them in with Gorilla Super Glue Gel. Then I can carefully bend them to the height that I need. You have to be careful when gluing the rod in place that it or flashing from the hole do not contact the crown gear. Even the smallest piece will rob power.

Cleaning up the track today for full function and dedicating the day to tuning my 4g Unlimited and List cars. Going back to one of my builds on the 2nd 4GU car. I think I can still get the alum. plate car to run but I need to change some things. I don't know....maybe I'll give it another chance. I'm kinda bummed because I am working on a new custom body that was for that chassis. It takes a special saddle mount to fit so it won't work on anything else. Anybody else want to share what they have been working on?

First racers to roll into Bear Creek early are Smokinvinnie and Crossfire! Right on! These two are anxious and will have first pick in the pits and should be dialed in by Raceday.
Welcome to Bear Creek Dragway!!
It has begun........

Ain't going to make money like that, have to go back and separate it now lmaooooo. Tjet 4gear plate Looks like 4gear mad max around here

Here's my 2 Gassers for the event. A 67 and 69. I had a 67 many years ago that looked just like that, same color, a black 350 SS with the white bumble bee stripe. The other is a Bill Jenkins Camaro. Both run within a few hundredths of each other but as we know these cars have a mind of their own and will do what they want, just like my Cat. Gasser Camaros

Still need to tackle the 4GU sparkmaster.

Good morning everyone, it looks like i have things going my way at motor city raceway ,i did run into some failures during test and tune but ended with great success with all my cars but like Dave said these little buggers have a mind of there own . While testing my unlimited 4g last weekend the front idler post dropped taking out my motor and causing a deslot at the 660 then tumbled through the traps at 36 mph took out the crash box and ended coming to rest upside down on the shut down with a bent front axle, the shoe ripped off missing a spring with the the chassis jacked in the body.had to do total rebuild this week but it's now with no body running strong into the .200s at 58 mph on 20volts . I should have everything ready today hopefully if i don't tune myself into a hole. Go ahead and put me down for one in each class please JJ . Hope everyone is having good luck with test and tune.

Good to hear from you Jeff. You are on the list. Thank you. Oh my goodness....into the .2's?? That's crazy man!! Great job! I guess durability will be your only concern. I pretty much video every run these things make during a race because of the potential for violence. They seems to be very dramatic when things go wrong. Good luck with the rest of your tuning. I'm hoping I've got mine squared away. I thought I had a contender till you posted that.

My car is nowhere near that MPH, I think mine hit 32 MPH @ 20 volts, figure 40 or so at 26. I have not tried 26V but that should put a 58 MPH car near 70. I did have my 3G T jet hit 44 MPH still not close to 58 @ 20 volts.
