I still have the Tyco flip front 55 & 57 Chevies that I got in the 70s. Those have gone crazy in price recently.
I have never been a collector, all the cars I have race down the strip, I just buy what I like which lately has been near 0. Got the 70 & 71 Chevelles
recently but that has been it.

The green & white 55 caught me eye. The white chevy nomad is very nice also. The grille is now a solid piece with the fuel tank being a bump on the surface. Takes away a few points, but still a really sweet looker.

Bill you know me to well I haven't cast it yet but it's stripped and in line to be cast in the near future. If it comes out like I want then I will do the Nomad too ? Bill you know me to well I haven't cast it yet but it's stripped and in line to be cast in the near future. If it comes out like I want then I will do the Nomad too ? The body is mostly for show as it is quite heavy. They do look good, however.
I had a full-size flip front 55 a long time ago. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of that one.

Bill I think a 55 Coupe and 57 Nomad would be doable ? Along with a 50’s early 60’s Corvette, Willy’s, Henry J, Mustang or this just popped into my head the 63 Falcon gasser💡 that I’ve been wanting to re cast. Like Dave said there mostly for show don’t know how many top end hits the front end could take ? But the flip nose would make a very cool gasser and fun to build. Thanks Bill for really screwing me up worse than I already am🤪 That’s why these stupid little cars are so addicting.

Thanks, I managed to get one of the green/white flamed cars,  . I ordered it as soon as I saw your post and it arrived in England today along with a few other things that I wanted. Jag hobbies are the easiest dealer for sending orders to England. I find Jim and Andrea at Jag hobbies are always so helpful. |

Got a few of those coming. AW usually releases the unpainted bodies shortly before the release of the painted versions. Curious about what will be in that release.
