Al I hate to say it but please scratch my cars they won’t be making the Journey. I got sidetracked big time. I thought I was screwed up before? I got a 3D resin printer back in November and have been totally consumed in it. I’m still learning and trying to figure it out and making good progress. I’ll post some pictures of what I got so far when I get a chance. Thanks You Al for hosting and good luck to all the participants.

Sounds good to me. Pumped for the race.
I had a little delay in mailing, they said Wednesday- Thursday, but tracking is showing Thursday.
If they are late I'd still like to get E.T.s please.
Sorry the procrastination crew failed this time around.
Rick I dedicate myself to call and harass you at least , possibly, maybe, 2 weeks before race weekend from now on. Really I'm doing this for myself so when I tell you I know I'm getting down to the wire myself.
Again I apologize for not having my act together and mailing sooner.

I'll just look at the 1/8th mile times and pretend it's 1000 foot so I think my cars are really moving.

You know the problem would be I'd get the cars back home and run them down my track and wonder why they won't run as fast as they did at Al's lol

Steve "Swiftkart" has arrived and the pits are all abuzz about what he brought to face down in the Kiwi 4-gear class. stay tuned as details are likely to arise at any moment.

Honestly I would have liked to have known upfront the race distance was only going to be 660 (1/8 mile), my car is tuned and dialed in for 1000' & the full 1/4 mile, the 1/8 is a totally different setup to get the right performance, I guess it is what it is, I'm not expecting much from my car, oh well it will be interesting to see how it does.

I tend to agree with Swiftkart on this. For the people that are racing just for fun this doesn't affect them, but for those that are trying to compete it potentially does. My cars are junk so it won't affect me but I'm kinda glad I didn't spend anymore time tuning now. Going forward this kind of race information really does need to be decided upon and announced well before the week of the race. But as Swiftkart said....it is what it is. I was going to ask that question earlier since Thunder Road has typically been an 1/8mi. track in the past, but I thought it had been upgraded since it was posted it would be 1000' scale. But I still do appreciative Al running the race.
