My cars are on the way, I just hope that they are not held up in customs this time . The tracking number is LG987330943GB. I have included some Hot Wheels gassers as promised for giveaways for the other racers.

You won't need Facebook. The videos are actually on YouTube. as long as we can all see it I think we're ok. You could see the video up there ok Ken?
Will still have call outs in here for grudge match racing .

Sam, been planning to ask you and other members how you like doing the videos on FB vs photo coverage as traditionally done here.
Betting that posting the videos is a whole lot more user friendly than posting on NS. No 3rd party photo hosting needed.
The videos you have posted are fantastic and constantly getting better. You are quite a showman.
Personal opinion: I enjoy your videos but am not fond of FB. Viewing videos on FB is not user friendly. They tend to scramble things up to suit what they feel I’d most relevant. Sometimes I tune and and find a bunch of stuff that’s several days old instead of the latest posts. Even when I select the most recent posts or most recently updated. One nice thing about the NS photo style is that we have an archive of our past events. We can go back and see how our cars performed in different classes in past races or at a particular track. Don’t think that will be possible on FB.
Most of the time I go to FB on an iPad, which seems to have some compatibility issues with FB. This is especially prevalent when viewing Dave Deville’s races. Seems to work much better when accessed from a desktop computer. If a cell phone was all I had to use, I would not bother with FB.
Rick and Clive both said they could see the videos without FB. Is that direct through YouTube? That may be a better alternative.
Just some opinions and ideas to add to the discussion.

Bill, some of Sam's videos are on YouTube and I am sure he will give a link or something to find them. I don't know if he has linked any of this recent race to his You Tube account yet. I agree with you about FaceBook scrambling in a lot of stuff I could care less about.

All the video would be on YouTube. That's what I use to post them in here. I believe something got crossed in my message. All reports, videos everything is in here. No one needs Facebook. I was just saying I did a Facebook race and used video to report... I like the video reports. It saves alot of writing and thinking what to say and it has more of a feeling we are all in the same room.
My suggestion to us using Facebook is for members with Facebook. It would be only to communicate with each other for our grudge match racing. Communication only. Report will still be here. Communication is a lot faster on Facebook which really speeds up knowing what races I need to put out. Members who prefer to call out grudge racing in here are absolutely most welcome to do so, as we have done in the past.
As far as keeping info in here besides the videos I could post the qualifying sheets and ladder brackets at the end of the race to group them together and not have to search the race thread.

Guess I kinda brought FB up when I asked your thoughts on hosting on FB vs NS.
Adding the qualifying results and ladders would be a great resources. That’ll take care of that problem.

I had some others asking a couple questions in the back room so I just wanted to clear everything up.
I've done video in my race's in the past along with pictures report. That was a lot of fun, but took a long time to do.
To answer your question Bill I am into the video reporting style. Rather Facebook or here. I just think it's more fun for everyone. It's definitely something you need to get comfortable with. I was definitely nervous as can be... the first take Mrs Skillet said stop... you can't just stand like that you blend in with the wall... , so the whole race in the back of my head as I was trying to think of something to say, I'm thinking... move your hands, move your hands, lmaooooo...
We will have a great show with either reporting style. I would like to try the video style out. I would like everyone on board before I roll with it.

I'm good with whatever. I do like the videos as you get to watch the actual races.

skillet asked me to post this here...I was wondering where, or if, this would fit in...Short answer "NO WHERE" lol.... He was curious what kind of feedback this car would get...So just for fun (I guess), it will be sent to his Summer Slam event. Anybody care to guess what kind of ET it can get?...SPECS: An old Wendy's novelty writing pen from the 90's. All pen "stuff" removed or cut off, two halves joined together...Then an (untuned) Jag TR-3GT was fitted to it. I used the original screw post in the rear, added a resin post for the front.....It runs very well, still going to add a second guide pin further toward the front. So any thoughts on this contraption.

Cool.
A "Redicu-long" dragster?
A Stretched-Limo dragster?
Warp-Factor One?
Warp-Speeder?

Nope lol. It could grudge race. 4gear stock body in Summer Slam is really the only class to go wild with. That was the original idea behind doing that for that class.

My "Shi-T-Bucket" will stay here in the bathroom. But I'll send the Pen car, if anybody wants to grudge race it.....If not, just run it down the track so I can get an idea of what kind of ET it gets...Thanks.
