SIGN UP AND RACE INFORMATION
It's getting to be that time again! Is everyone READY!
SUMMER SLAM is coming, time to get building.
This is going to be the biggest SUMMER SLAM EVENT ever , action packed! With over 6 classes to choose from. Some familiar and some not so much. Let's check out the classes. Please note some classes allow only 1 entry per racer.
Let's kick off the classes with a racers favorite...
4GEAR STOCK = 2 cars per racer , any body may be used, have fun with it! No lexan or lexan type.
Original electrical, original replacement type electrical ok. NO braid or shunt!!
14 ohm armature minimum. Don't go crazy looking for a 14 they are usually closer to 14.8 +/-...
Ceramic grade motor magnets.
2 traction magnets. Chassis without traction magnets may add magnets. Use autoworld 4gear for reference on location if unsure, or ask.
Rear tires - .560 max outside diameter. No silifoam.
Wheelie bars ok and may be added to chassis.

Next up is my favorite class.
2.4 SUPER COMP inline - 2 cars per racer max. Street/Strip type body turbo welcome. Plastic or resin type no lexan.
2.4 ohm minimum armature. These can be hand wound or custom arms. Must be single wire wrap.
Poly grade motor mags, no neo.
There are many materials of magnets. I will except a neo if it is poly grade and not above! You can use ceramic if you wish.
2 traction magnets. Stacked mags ok.
Ask if unsure
Any electrical, any gear , any front axle type, any rear tire silifoam ok.
Please no monster truck tires.

The Evil Canary Track Record Trial...
This consists of a tyco motorcycle that is close as possible to original tyco motorcycle. No braid, no shunts. Original 9+ ohm arms only! Wheelie bar ok. Original magnets all around. You can customize the body. No side carts.
This will not be a race format. You will get two tries at the track record during the event at different times. Each chance will consists of a pass down each lane. Can you dig it?
These bikes will not be ran in class racing. 1 bike entry!

InLine Super Stock Tyco Motor Cycle = 1 Bike per racer. Tyco Bike body or close. EAGLE RACING may have bodies for those who want to customize without touching original.
These are ran every year , personalize your bike. Fun fun fun...no side carts..
Braid and shunt ok
5.7 ohm minimum
Original type motorcycle motor magnets.
2 traction magnets (you may remove the bar magnet and make something for 2 magnets, 1 on each side of the bike)
Gears/ axle no restrictions
Tire no silifoam, no other restrictions
Wheelie bars ok and encouraged
If you have to use an oring for a tire or make a shoe go for it... ask around in here , there are parts available.

1 Bike per racer. EAGLE RACING has designed an inline motorcycle body that can adapt different types of inline chassis...
Rules for this race... Eagle Bike Body.
5.7 ohm arm minimum. Balance Yes
Any tire any gear.
Any chassis you can get to fit the bike body!
Braid and shunt yes
Wheelie bar yes
Sidecar NO!

Let's go inline...
INLINE SUPER STOCK -1 car per racer. Drag full fender car type bodies. No street cars.
Lexan ok.
5.7 ohm armature minimum. Blue print and timing ok. I will allow hand wound , custom arms of single wrap wire.
Any electrical, braid and shunts ok.
Ceramic grade motor magnets.
2 traction magnets only. No stacked magnets.
Any front axle type.
.490 max diameter rear tire. No silifoam.
Wheelie bars ok

In expanding our hobby or just plain out adrenaline needs! New racers here coming in from Facebook I'd like to give them something they are more familiar working with.

Jag hobbies DR-1 MOD 1.
2 cars per racer. Street/Strip/Drag type body. No lexan or lexan type.
Original and original type replacement electrical. Adjustable brush barrels permitted. No braid or shunts.
Jag 6ohm armature minimum, no blueprint no balance.
Jag dr1 stock motor magnets. Part number 12-0006-1
Any Jag dr1 traction magnets. Must be in stock location.
Any Jag gear combination(7or 8t pinion, 23- 25t crown). Any brand may be used.
Max rear tire .610 outside diameter, no minimum . No silifoam.
Wheelie bars ok and may be added to chassis. Any front axle type. No mods to chassis (no holes for downforce, no cut magnet pockets. )

List racing has its own weight restrictions that will be enforced.
All classes will be ran at 20v with 10 amps. Each lane has its own power. Single toggle switch fires both lanes.
15ft 7.5in timed area (1000ft) viper track. Just over 10ft of shut down with a 2ft catch box at the end.
Please include with cars a note with your name and address (screen name also) . A phone number if possible. Any special return information. A small description of cars being sent with what class they belong. A name for car if any. Cost to race is cost of return shipping. Include with cars or I have PayPal ff if needed.

I'm all ready working on car's . I've made improvement on my motorcycle but struggling with the rest. As we saw at JJ's the ET's are getting lower

If you have to use an oring for a tire or make a shoe go for it... ask around in here , there are parts available. Original ohm arms only... Was wondering about your original ohm arms only for Tyco bike, you do know the stock motor is 9 ohm and they are rare to find these days so some bikes are being sold with 6 ohm motors or people are putting them in because they think that's stock so question is are you going to make it a min 6 ohm Tyco bike class or are you sticking with original ohm arms only and going to tech all bikes for 9 ohm motors? |
