Jingle bells batman smells Robin laid an egg?
Hello and Merry Christmas Exchange everyone!
There has been many talks and ideas about what to do this year the plan has changed so many times it's all shook up.
Original idea number 1 = the date was set to try and get everyone's car back by Christmas so you can open it on Christmas if you wanted. We'll with the plan that we now have, we may need a little more time. That means the date will be pushed slightly. Will get back to that...
On with the exchange plan, after talking with JJ and a few of our Nitro members. It has been decided to add a DR1 (jag hobbies) dragster class in nitro slots. Listen to that crowd cheer!
JJ is working on posting up the build rules for it. We have time , please give him time, before anyone and you will start asking where's the rules...
The exchange will consist of a dr1 chassis and the new autoworld unpainted dragster. A possibility of stencils and some goodies. I'm talking with Jag to see if we can get a group discount. The autoworld bodies are $20 for 4 bodies. If you all are intrested what I propose is making up the set as cheap as we can get it. We can run a class race for those intrested in the Christmas Exchange race. The winner will get something extra in the Christmas package. When your cars return your Christmas dragster kit will be in there. For the first race of next year we will run those cars in a class race. All painted up and personalized!
I would need money upfront to try and do a group buy. I'm waiting to hear back from jag now. I need to know who wants in so I have an idea of how many chassis and bodies we need to order. Along with some extra parts. I'll work on a price of the kit to include chassis body stencils extra parts and report back. If intrested please say so in here...
As far as the class race and other Christmas information I'll be back shortly... Date moved to Dec 15-17 Class race will be...

We definitely missed racing with you guys this year Sandfly. If you guys wanted in I'm sure we have no problem stalling a little. We get the best procrastinators I've ever been amongst, being one myself and even the new guy Vernon really showing us how it's done.

I'm in. I picked up a 4 pack last week. I wish they would come unassembled. These have an enclosed thingypit. My Matco Tools dragster is open. The front edge of the thingypit is glued down upon examination. On two of the four bodies, the glue seeps out towards the front. They actually look better this way, as it blends the thingypit into the main body. But if you want to separate the thingypit from the body for painting or pulling the glass while painting, it will probably mar that front edge. A good masking job on the windshield may work instead of pulling it.

Count me in for a little dragster action.
Not sure what the best way is for me to get stuff over the border without cancelling/losing any discounts. There's still smoke coming from both ears. I'll look into it.
