I watch that movie, (A Christmas story), every year! A classic! Wish we had 57 Chevies now. Today's cars are pretty unappealing drab things. I drive a Dodge Challenger now as it reminds me of how nice cars were way back when. Here's a shot of my old Camaro, which had a big M 632 in it, and its lookalike HO 69 Camaro that Bill gave me.  68 wheelie

We watch "A Christmas Story" every year at our house too. But, I still refuse to buy a full size, or desk sized leg-lamp. Looks too ugly to me. Bill sure loved those Model Motoring bodies. Your 1:1 Camaro looks absolutely marvelous!  |

Looking forward to it. The house that was used in the film was located in Cleveland.
But the scene where Ralphie stands up to Scot Farkus (Zack Ward), the neighborhood bully, and gives him a proper beating was recorded at 64 Sears Street in Toronto. Just east of the location is where they filmed the earlier scenes when Farkus and his cronies chase Ralphie down an alley.
I live about 25-minutes away from the Toronto location. I sure don't triple-dog dare stick my tongue on any frozen lamp posts.
