Asked my 3 grandsons ages 14 to 17, to come over for some racing. Broke out 4 AW Mustang Deluxe Pit Kits. We all built one while going over some electrical and basic slot car theory. Figured if we painted the Mustang bodies there wouldn't be enough time for any racing, by the time the paint dried, so we each picked out a Model Motoring or AW body.
Once assembled, we spent a couple of hours doing some serious grudge match racing.
Next time they come over, we'll add a 4-lane road course with lap counters, to the competition. At a later date we'll break out those Mustang bodies and do some painting.
They seemed to have a good time and are looking forward to the next race!
