Summer Slam 2023 Race thread

Hello lady's and gentlemen and children of all ages! Come with me Skillet for a great adventure called SUMMER SLAM!
Summer Slam is a magical time wich we have seen in the past. Keep a look out! you never know what your going to see. You will be surprised near the end of the show!
Along with this year's racing we have food trucks, games, rides, camping, a band with a Dj , D.J. Sweet Larry! (Crowd starts screaming) and much more...
... don't forget the bazooka crew!
Pete (Eric) has volunteered to keep a 24 hour hot line open to the event. He is also supplying satellite feed. I'm sure he will give us some info on that shortly.
Video drones are in place and operational.
We are broadcasting world wide, turn your receiver to ch. 34 for 24 hour up dates.
We are in for a treat this year. Track power is now at 20 amp. That's correct
2 lanes each have their own 20 amp power supply. Big thank you out to Swiftkart for making that possible.
All racing will be ran at 20vdc. Track is viper. Timmed Length of 15ft 7 and a half inch (1000ft). Has 10ft shut down that goes into a 2ft long catch box.
This year we will be trying out the video reporting style. We Will still be talking in the thread as normal. I encourage everyone to share in the fun and feel free to post in the race thread.

Posting in the race thread will not end up on the middle of a race, so this should work nicely. Feel free to add.lets have fun. This type of reporting takes a little longer because I'm still new to it but i think we are all going to enjoy it. Summer Slam is built around the 4th of July. This weekend we will be looking at the cars , getting through qualifying and enjoying ourselves in here. I am not running any kind of time line. We will be racing until the 4th and maybe after...
