I will say this is only my 2nd time hosting but it's the 1st time I've seen kstocks in anything but a mustang.

Welcome back race fans! Day 2 is kicking off here at the 2024 Ice Drags and ITz raceway. To start off the day we are going to run a little grudge/ exhibition race. We're going to bring in Gnome in the 57 fade inline super stock. About the only thing we have on the property that has a chance to keep up with this monster is the race masters own inline super stock in big bird. We will run best 2 out of 3. Let's check out the action. Burnouts complete the drivers stage waiting on green.  Both drivers are away and Gnome pulls out at the half but pennywize619 is on the scramble button trying to real him in.  To the big end it's going to be Gnome by a car.  Man that thing is fast! Let's see if Big Bird had anything for Gnome in round 2.  |

Round 2 and the cars have cooled and the drivers bring them up in opposite lanes this time. There was a little of a burn down at staging but both drivers are in. Let's see if Big Bird can take it to 3 rounds.  Drivers are away and the head games didn't work as Gnome again pulls out at the half. Big Bird won't give up and here he comes.  At the finish can pennywize619 catch Gnome? He can not and Gnome and the 57 fade will take it in 2.  I can't say it enough that thing is fast! Congratulations Gnome! What a pleasure to race along side you.  I'm going to say it. The Era of the ghost cat is here. You better get one before one gets you. |

Let's do it race fans! We are jumping into eliminations of stock tjet. First pair is the number 32 and 33 qualifiers. Eagle Racing in the Flamed 57 and Finistauri in Old Slippery. Staged and waiting for green.  Eagle gets the jump and pulls away at the half as Finistauri spins the tires.  Finistauri collected his car back up and is charging hard to the finish. Can he make up the ground?  He closed the gap but couldn't get it done and Eagle Racing moves on.  Next up is Cozwurth in the vega and Smokinvinnie in "76". A few smokey burnouts and they stage.  The light drops and Smokinvinnie trys to make a right turn and de slots.  Cozwurth makes it look easy and rolls on down the track.  He moves on to the next round.  Next pairing will see Car-la60 in Carla take on Crossfire in the 57 Suburban. Staged and ready.  Green lights and they hit the gas. Like Smokinvinnie before him Crossfire makes a right and de slots.  Carla makes a smooth A to B pass and moves on.  |

Up now Comet in the beautiful maverick and Crazynski in the like wise beautiful challenger. Into the beams they go.  They are pretty even until the 60' and the maverick starts to pull away.  Crazynski is trying to hang in there at the big end but it's going to be Comet and the maverick.  It was a close race till about the half.  That brings up JJwallace in the Torino and Bluesguy in the Thunderbolt. A little ford on ford crime here.  The Thunderbolt had the advantage on the tree but look at the Torino pour on the power.  At the finish you can barely see the Thunderbolt as it seems really down on power today.  The numbers don't lie the Thunderbolt was having problems today. JJ will move on.  |

That finished up the outside races and moves us into the ladder for the full round 1. 1st pair is the number 1 qualifier in Swiftkart in the Cobra and next to him the number 32 qualifier in Eagle Racing and the flamed 57. Drivers stage and wait on green.  The light drops and Eagle is gone but wait Swiftkart does not move. It appears he broke on the line.  Eagle cruises down the track and will take the stripe.  What a upset here folks. Swiftkart your number 1 qualifier does not make it off the line.  Wow! With the events in the last race I don't know what to expect anymore. Let's bring up the next pair in Weissach in the gasser 57 and Dynomike in the Thundernut. Drivers are locked and ready.  Slight advantage to Dynomike and he keeps it to the 60 and the 57 comes to life.  These cars stay glued all the way down but only 1 can move on.  Its Weissach moving into round 2  Next to battle it out is Ecbill in the Hot Nova and Kstocks in the hot mustang. Staged and ready.  The tear out of there and the nova is in the lead at the half.  The Nova was on a mission and was having non of the mustang.  Ecbill moving on.  That will see Racin Rob in the Dash Camaro taking on Tjetter in the GSX. Burnouts complete and staged.  Racin Rob is out first and carrys that to the 660.  The GSX stays right there looking to gain ground. At the big end it's going to be Racin Rob.  This looked like a closer race than the boards are letting on.  |

Pulling into the water box we have Gnome in the Pink Merc and Cozwurth in the vega. Staged and watching the tree.  They are away clean and the merc is out front at the half.  The vega is making a move but just can't get it done.  We will see the pink merc in the next round.  Next up Ecbill in the Black and Blue elco and Racin Rob in the camaro. Locked and loaded.  Green flashes and the elco is gone and the camaro doesn't move.  Ecbill makes a A to B pass for the win.  Ecbill moves on as we push Racin Rob off the starting line.  That seeing Crazynski and Kstocks to the line.  Light drops and the pumpkin Chevelle and the blue Chevelle are away.  Kstocks had the starting line advantage but it was all Crazynski after that and he takes the stripe.  The tale of the tape.  Last pair on the left side of the ladder is Car-la60 in Carla and Hairycanary in the willys.  Pretty even at the hit but the willys starts pulling away.  Carla isn't going to lay down and keeps it right there. At the finish its going to be Hairycanary and the willys.  Hairycanary moves into round next.  |
