There is nothing wrong with running straight foam tires, it's all in the setup, they are just as fast it the car is setup to use them

All y'all is optimistic. I just launched the same car. 1s flat with "NOS" foam tires that have been conditioned. Give it another 0.6 to roast the foam off the line. 1.600 is my guess. Oh Man! Steve done busted out the redneck words! All y'all!

I think it is going to come down to the condition of these foam tires which Adam has given us precious little clue about. Crispy creams or spongey goodness. Still standing by my guess, but predicting it will still be >1s.

I have the same Tyco Vette. The tires on mine are crispy crunchy critters. At 20 volts wheel spin could be had at-will. It even spun out in the corner and went down the side straight backwards a few times.

It's a Japanese release that came with X3 traction magnets and some good foams, I was surprised by the performance of it.
