Hi Fin, I'm not sure about the passport thing. I don't think you can board a flight crossing the Canadian/US border without one. The address is: The Dungannon Agricultural Society Hall 36987 Dungannon Road, Dungannon, Ontario, Canada, N0M 1R0 The show runs from 10am until 2pm. Floor rights cost $20 to enter as a buyer at 8am. Be warned, it's a fairly small show. One medium size room with maybe 25-vendors. Your flight money would go a very long way on EBay. You would need to fly into Toronto, rent a car. Then drive 2-hours to the show. The organizer has Aurora T-jet tow trucks and pickups, etc, worth BIG money. He's asking $1,000 for some cars. Nuts if you ask me. I will never understand the collector thing. I buy something because I like it, could care less about how rare it is.

I agree with you, Dave. The most I've ever paid for an Aurora Tjet is $100 Canadian (with a solid rivet chassis). I had never seen a '67 Galaxie 500 XL in the flesh before. Just pics.

The most I have ever paid for a car is the 55.00 I paid for a new AW 55 Chevy about a year ago. I have bought and sold about 1,000 HO slots of all kinds over the years. Some I had bought over 50 years ago.

Selling HO cars? Is that a thing? Incoming for me only. Nothing outgoing. I've only been into HO since 2021. I must be up to... maybe 5-cars now? I have a long way to go before I sell anything.

At one point I had over 200 various drag cars/chassis for the different classes we have. I have bought some large lots in the past, the biggest was about 130 cars some years ago. I only keep the ones I like. Down to about 100 now.

Well, to be totally honest. It's possible that I may have a 1/32 scale car somewhere. That's what I did before getting into HO in 2021. HO scale cars was my reaction to Covid. Remember that stupid Covid thing?

I have lost a lot of faith in buying slot cars from slot car guys. Lots of "keep the good ones, sell the rest" out there. I mostly look for antique sellers who happen to come across some slot cars at an estate sale kind of thing. My best running vintage T-Jet and TycoPro chassis have all been obtained from such sellers.

I do sell some fast ones occasionally. I have sold some 25-26 MPH AFX 6 ohm chassis, that's about double the speed of a normal AFX. I ask a lot more for those chassis. Most buyers on Ebay have no clue about performance. Rare bodies mean nothing to me. I have about 50 or so 55-57 Chevies because I like that body style.
